REPORT OF THE COMMISSION ON MINISTRY TO PRESBYTERY November 29, 2016 The Commission met in the conference rooms of the Presbytery Center on November 29, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. A quorum was present. Part I - Items For Information 1. Positions Available For the information of members of the Presbytery, the Commission lists the following positions within the Presbytery that are thought to be available. Dr. Tammy Wiens has accepted a position as Associate for Christian Formation in the Presbyterian Mission Agency effective January 1, 2017. 5. The Rev. Louise Rogers will be serving as part time supply pastor at Peters Creek Presbyterian Church, Washington Presbytery effective September 5, 2016.

Calls The call of the Aspinwall Presbyterian Church for the services of The Rev. Scott David Hill as Pastor effective December 1, 2016. Annual terms of call are Salary $24,000; Housing $36,000; Full Pension Plan; Automobile Expense Allowance $600; Business Expense Allowance $600; Medical Expense $1200; Continuing Education $1500; Other Allowances $600; Moving Costs up to $3500, 5 weeks vacation and 2 weeks study leave; and a three month Clergy Renewal Leave, continuing salary and benefits for that period.and providing for pulpit supply in the pastor s absence. The call of the Southminster Presbyterian Church for the services of the Rev. Tara Thompson as Associate Pastor effective January 15, 2017. Annual terms of call are Salary $35,000; Housing $30,000; Full Pension Plan; Automobile Expense Allowance at 54 /mile; Reimbursement of Expenses by voucher; Medical Expense $1300, Continuing Education $1500; reasonable moving expenses; 4 weeks vacation and 2 weeks study leave; and a Sabbatical leave of three months after seven years of continuous, uninterrupted service. Diana Harbison as Temporary Pastor for one year effective April 1, 2016. The request of the Gladden United Presbyterian Church for the services of Rev. Commissioned Ruling Elders The request of the Hawthorne Presbyterian Church for the renewal of the contract for Elder Paul Nigra to serve as a part-time Commissioned Ruling Elder for one year effective January 1, 2017 and authorized to perform the following functions Administer the Lord s Supper. Administer the Sacrament of Baptism. Moderate the session of the congregation under supervision of and when invited by the moderator of the session appointed by Presbytery. Have a voice in meetings of the Presbytery. Have a vote in meetings of the Presbytery (such vote to be counted as an elder commissioner for purposes of parity). Perform a service of Christian marriage when invited by the session and permitted by state law. The request of the Concord Presbyterian Church for the renewal of the contract for Elder Nancy Kay Stanny to serve as a part-time Commissioned Ruling Elder for one year effective January 1, 2017 and authorized to perform the following functions Administer the Lord s Supper. Administer the Sacrament of Baptism. Moderate the session of the congregation under supervision of and when invited by the moderator of the session appointed by Presbytery. Have a voice in meetings of the Presbytery.

Ellen Dawson from West Virginia Presbytery effective July 8, 2016. The Rev. Albert Valentine from The Presbytery of Mackinac effective September 25, 2016. The Rev. Myra Kazanjian from Utica Presbytery effective December 8, 2016. *10. Administrative Commission to Install The election of the following ministers and elders of Pittsburgh Presbytery to serve as an Administrative Commission to install the Rev. Scott Hill as Pastor of the Aspinwall Presbyterian Church on January 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. The first named minister after the moderator to be clerk of the commission. Moderator Rev.
