Activities, Social Time and Excursions 6 Typical Timetable 7 Find Us 8 This year for the first time, we are offering you the freedom to choose between a residential summer school in the prestigious Wellington Academy, set in the beautiful and very friendly county of Wiltshire (see other brochure) or a non residential summer school (this brochure), set in our favourite school in the vibrant city of Reading. Both of these will bring out the fluent English in you, while inspiring you to delve into England s culture head first! Edinburgh Newcastle The School s Location Our all time favourite school in Reading plays host to our non residential summer school, in the heart of Reading town so you can t miss a beat! With the train station only a five minute walk from the school and bus stops just outside, many other attractions all over England are right at our doorstep. The wild life of London and the historical, more tranquil city of Oxford are both just a 0 minute train ride away. Summer School Package Accommodation We know you want to feel happy and relaxed when you re away from home but we don t underestimate the need of safety and security for our students too. For this reason, we have selected trusted, exceptional families for our homestays and tried and tested Unite halls of residence for you to choose. In all accommodations, you will be practising your English every day, either with native speakers or as your lingua franca, in a positive, memorable and safe environment! All our homestay families have been carefully selected to ensure our students get the very best experience! Homestays are an excellent option to ensure you are practising your English every day with native speakers, in a home-from-home environment. Most of our families live in houses with a garden and close to the town centre, although sometimes students may have to take a 15 minute bus ride to get to school. All the families will ensure you have a very positive, fun, safe and memorable experience with them! Our Summer Programmes include Summer Package 22 hours of English s a week Activity/Social programme Homestay and halls provided for all students Airport transfers Alternatively you can stay at Unite halls of residence, which were only completed in 2011. These are ideal for students who prefer their own privacy and cooking. They are a short, ten minute walk from the school, have WIFI, social areas, a laundry room and outdoor green areasperfect for the more independent student!
