International Baccalaureate (IB) Equivalencies Colorado State University awards credit for IB Examinations as outlined on the chart below. The number of credits awarded for successful completion of an IB Diploma program will be a minimum of 2 semester credits. Students that have earned an IB Diploma and have a score of less than a on any exam may see the number of credits granted reduced accordingly. (HB 0-1108 sub section d) CSU awards credit for most examinations on which a score of a or higher is earned. Examinations with a score below a do not earn credit. Credit for most exams are awarded at the standard level or higher level. Credits may be used toward the 120 credit minimum requirement for graduation and may be used toward general education (All University Core Curriculum) requirements. For more information about IB or questions related to equivalencies, please see the IB website, or contact the Registrar's Office at (0) 1-1.
