New Director Checklist 2 weeks prior Date: Location Set up First reminder to Unit and Guests 1 Week Prior Date: Power Point If equipment is available locally: Need 25-30 pictures Pick out Unit Song and let Diana know for Music CD Get Update Picture and accolades to Diana for flyer 2 nd reminder to Unit and Guests 2 days Prior Date: Write up each consultant Attending (character quality and accomplishment Cake and punch Assign people: Bring plates, cups napkins Pick up Cake and punch Decorations Music Sign In Run Raffle (optional) 2 for face Fashion announcers Purchase Gifts: Family Any Directors or NSD who have impacted your journey Unit ($2-3 that goes along with Unit name) Pink Carnations for each unit member Queens Confirm Unit and Guests Work on Why story 3 minutes Work on Vision for Unit 3 minutes Most of your time will be praising your people Day Before: Date: Confirm all assignments Cake and Punch Decorations Music Person Day of Debut: Date: Relax and practice your presentation Arrive at least 1 hour prior to debut Confirm Unit and Guests and attire

Asks the unit to come forward for the world to see!! (may bring up one at a time or all at once) A. Have a card for each consultant with their accomplishments and character quality they bring to the unit B. Present each member with a candle and present gift or flower to each member C. Prizes to any special people and unit Queens. D. Unit gift Raffle 2 nd Face Fashion Show for guests $100 Client gift and introduction (2 nd Director Debut if needed) Diana 3 Shoes Speech

Sales Director Oath Believing that the Company is built on the concept of the Golden Rule.. Candlelight Ceremony Thank you so much for coming today and as we come to the close of our debut celebration, we would like to share with you our traditional candlelight close. This light represents Inspiration, the inspiration we receive from God and all those around us. This light represents Integrity, the integrity we practice in our daily lives. This light represents Love, love of our company, our country and all mankind around us. This light represents Friendship, the warm friendship which encompasses us as members of the Mary Kay organization. This light represents Kindness, the kindness we feel toward all we meet.

This light represents Faith, the faith that leads us toward rewarding tomorrows. This light represents Beauty, the beauty we find in all creation and in all our lives. This light represents Courage, the courage to accept challenges and master them. This light represents Hope, the hope which dispels a darkness. This light represents Harmony, acting in harmony with nature, with others and with your self. This light represents Compassion- the compassion shown by caring for others. This light represents Commitment- the commitment shown by having the courage to try. This light represents Courtesy- the courtesy we show by practicing the golden rule.

This light represents Foresight- the vision to see past today to a wonderful tomorrow. This light represents Strength- the character to be undefeated by failure and unchanged success. This light represents Joy- the joy we realize in serving others. Inspiration, Integrity, Love, Friendship, Kindness, Faith, Devotion, Beauty, Courage, Hope, Harmony, Compassion, Commitment, Courtesy, Foresight, Strength, and Joy- All represent the foundations of our wonderful company- wonderful because of each and every one of you here today. Did you ever notice that when you light one candle from the flame of another, the original loses none of its brilliance? And as it is passed from one candle to the next, the flame of the orginal candle is magnified, lighting up the entire room. And so it is with our Mary Kay careers when we pass the torch. Whether sharing our fantastic products or career opportunity, we can illuminate the lives of others

over and over again. It is our hope that being together this afternoon has meant as much to you as it has to us. Thank you for joining us.

Optional Husband s Oath As a husband of a May Kay Director, I pledge that I will do my utmost to support, encourage and assist my wife in every way. I realize that only as we share our lives completely can she develop her full potential. I, too, will uphold the golden rule and project a positive attitude to all I meet. And, I will always be ready to give my wife a well-deserved pat on the back. High up!!
