As a facilitator providing leadership and team development initiatives, you understand that active participation and engagement is essential! What is Everything DiSC? Everything DiSC is a psychometric personality assessment that measures an individual s behavioural style. This research-validated model helps individuals to understand themselves and others to be able to build more effective working relationships that are built on an understanding of their different needs, priorities and communication styles. The Everything DiSC assessment is not a test there is no such thing as a pass or fail, as there are no bad profiles. All profiles are positive, and designed to focus on the strengths of your DiSC style. Knowing your own DiSC style is helpful in understanding your own natural behavioural tendencies and how to meet your individual needs. However, when building relationships with others, something we all have to do, knowing how to adapt your behaviour to improve relationships with other people, improves communication, creates deeper connections, clearer messages and win/win solutions. Unlike other personality tests, there is no such thing as a perfect or ideal DiSC profile. Everyone is a blend of all four DiSC styles, although you would have a DOMINANCE D tendency to lean more towards one or two of the four. There is no one profile that is better than any other profile. John Wiley & Sons, Inc. one of the world s largest publishing companies, were the first publisher of a DiSC assessment to use twenty-first century technology adaptive testing to deliver the highest levels of validity, reliability and accuracy ever achieved. Our DiSC is different... More accurate John Wiley & Sons, Inc., have invested heavily in ensuring that Everything DiSC is the most reliable, scientifically valid and advanced DiSC profile on the market. What sets the Everything DiSC family of tools apart is our current use of a five-point Likert response scale and our method of Adaptive Testing (AT). Adaptive Testing technology analyses a respondents answers in real time to determine the next questions they are given. Most importantly, this type of tailored testing increases the precision of the assessment instrument. A person s Everything DiSC profile is 32% more accurate than a traditional DiSC Classic profile. All DISC profiles are based on the same four dimensions or behavioural traits, namely Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Compliance or Conscientiousness. However, most publishers of the DISC Model products have different questionnaires, even though some are very similar. They all originate from the same 24 item, four words per item, forced choice questionnaire that was developed by Geier and Hendrickson in the 1960 s and revised in 1971. With modern advancements in psychometrics, this type of assessment is now very outdated. Knowledge and experience We have been distributors of DiSC for over 30 years. You might think that DiSC is just DISC. But it s not, there are a number of DISC profiles out in the marketplace. Here s what makes our Everything DiSC process unique. 32% more accurate Easier to read The Everything DiSC profiles use a true circumplex model to pinpoint your DiSC style, using a dot to represent a person s DiSC style on the DiSC map. It is far more simple and intuitive to understand than the traditional way of representing DISC. 4

Highly versatile A DiSC profile is not black and white. With the Everything DiSC suite, the products are extremely versatile. Each Everything DiSC profile is compatible with the next, meaning participants results can be shown across different applications without retaking the questionnaire. Ongoing research Most other DISC providers continue to use two or three graphs to represent the learner s assessment results, claiming that the first and second graphs measure adaptive and natural behaviour. This is a myth. Years ago, when some of our data looked to point that way we believed this to be true. However, upon further data collection we discovered this explanation to be false, a finding backed by The British Psychological Society. In the early 90s, The Society performed its own validation study on the 24-item DISC questionnaire and concluded that graph one and two were measuring nothing more than different views of self-perception. Current DISC providers who continue to make this assertion are working with outdated and unsupported facts. How does Everything DiSC work? Everything DiSC profiles are administered online, meaning participants can take their profile anywhere at any time with results immediately. Links are sent through a platform called EPIC (Electronic Profile Information Center) with the option of Intégro sending the links to participants or you being able to do this yourself. After the links are sent to participants they will be able to take the assessment in about 15 minutes with the option of showing them their results immediately.
