2 Invitation Dear Christian Educator, Papua New Guinea is a nation that has a history of Christian involvement, and has had more Christian missionary input than almost any other nation on earth. Yet today, it is still struggling to find its feet politically, economically, and even spiritually. Why is that? It is because we who know the truth have not successfully transmitted that truth to succeeding generations so that they walk in it on a daily basis. With Accelerated Christian Education, we have the tools to ensure we train the next generation in a way that will bring a real change to the way they live. We have an opportunity standing before us to impact the nation of PNG like never before, and so I encourage you to stand together in this task. PNG Mega-Conference, and the subsequent PNG Islands Educators Conference, provide this opportunity. As we present a united voice, as we work together to demonstrate the unity and love of the God we serve, as we labour together to train the young people of this nation we will see the fruit of our labours as the next generation of Biblically trained young people rise up and take their place as leaders within their communities. I commend this Conference to you and urge you to attend, not just with the senior staff, but with all your staff so that together you can be encouraged, enlightened, and strengthened for the task that lies ahead. Be sure to register early as there are a limited number of places (and, of course, handouts), so make this a MUST DO for your school staff professional development. Let s make this the best ever PNG Mega-Conference as we fellowship with others who share our heart and passion for a Christian Papua New Guinea! Yours for young lives in PNG, Bob Gregory Managing Director Southern Cross Educational Enterprises Ltd.
