T H E S U M M E R SERIES D E L I G H T M I N I S T R I E S

WHAT IS THE SUMMER SERIES? The Summer Series is a 6 week podcast/devotional series within the Delight App! Each week Mac & Kenz, the founders of Delight, will interview some of their favorite women from across the country. We will have the opportunity to hear their stories, learn from them, and talk about the things that God has been speaking to them about. Each week will cover topics like brokenness, identity, discipleship, body image, friendship and purpose. This Summer Series is designed as a resource to help you deepen your own relationship with Christ amongst a group of women whom you can learn and grow with. We will provide you all of the tools and resources you ll need to invest in Christ-centered community and strengthen your walk with the Lord this summer. Get ready for the BEST SUMMER EVER!

THE FORMAT DAY 1: LISTEN DAY 2: LEARN DAY 3: LET GO DAY 4: LEAN IN DAY 5: LIVE INTO Each week will kickoff with a 20-30 minute podcast style interview from one of our special guests in the App. Every interview will center around a specific topic that we will be diving into for the week as a community. You ll spend Day 1 listening to someone share their story and wisdom while looking for ways that God might speaking to you through it. On Day 2 we will dive into Scripture and see what the Bible has to say about the specific topic we re focusing on. This written devotional within the Delight App will guide you through 1-2 passages of Scripture from the Word. As a community we will reflect on what these verses meant 2,000 years ago, and how these words might still speak truth into our lives today! For Day 3 we will focus on some of the false narratives that come along with the topic we re focusing on for the week. This written devotional will help you to search your heart and let go of some of the lies from the enemy that you ve perhaps been believing. As a community, we will look at Scripture, ask the tough questions, and cover these lies in truth and prayer. Day 4 will be our opportunity to lean into the true narrative of what the Lord has to say about this specific topic. This written devotional within the Delight App will help you to realize this true narrative and give you ways to lean into this truth in your own life. Finally on Day 5, Mac & Kenz will end the week with a video recap within the Delight App. We will talk about the things that we ve learned, how we ve changed, and share ideas for how we can live into these new truths that we ve learned and experienced throughout the remainder of our summers. WHAT EACH WEEK IN THE SUMMER SERIES WILL LOOK LIKE...

WHY LEAD A SUMMER SERIES GROUP? Picture this: college women all over the country intentionally diving into the Word and exploring the beautiful adventure that is following Jesus together. Communities of women coming together each week to share and read stories about the power of the Holy Spirit at work. Women praying over one another, sharing a meal or a coffee together, and choosing to be open about their doubts, struggles, and insecurities with one another. Women doing all things from Him, through Him, and for Him. Women ending the summer refreshed, filled, changed, and empowered to change the culture of their campus. The Delight Summer Series was created with community in mind. We fully believe in the power of community and how walking with God is not a journey that you re meant to walk alone. Having Christ-centered community during the summer is just as important as it is during the school year. We want everybody to have the opportunity to have a group of women to go through the Summer Series with. We need women like you who are willing to serve in a leadership role this summer to give thousands of college women the opportunity to grow deeper in their faith alongside other women.
