VISA (Non-European Students) Warning: you will get your invitation letter for the embassy only if your application is accepted. You have to expect a minimum of 2 full months of delay to obtain your visa. INSURANCES Civil liability Insurance (No European Students) Insurance covering all accidents and injuries caused to a third party during your stay which is mandatory Student s Social Security The student's Social Security is mandatory for all students less than 28 years old in higher education. The national insurance will take in charge a part of your medical expenses, if you have any, once in France. PRIVATE INTERNATIONAL INSURANCE You must have a private international insurance covering medical needs to complete the French national insurance, this policy must cover your medical costs, hospitalization, and eventual repatriation You must provide proof of this insurance with your Visa application form. Students must be nominated by their home university as soon as possible and no later than the 1 st of November for the spring semester. Please email Elena Camilletti () with student full names, email, subject area at home institution & Institut Paul Bocuse. 2. Students will then receive an email from Institut Paul Bocuse with information about how to apply and print off the Exchange Student Application Form. 3. The Exchange Student Application Form should then be signed by the student and home institution, scanned with the supporting documentation** into ONE Multipage PDF file and sent to Elena Camilletti () 4. Once the application is received the student will receive confirmation of receipt via email. 5. 3 to 4 weeks after the closing date, students will receive an email to confirm an outcome on their application. Should it be successful an acceptance letter will also be sent to their email address. 6. A moblity Information Pack will be sent by email to all accepted students.
