Class Schedule & Curriculum Class Schedule The Global Executive OneMBA Program (OneMBA) at RSM begins in September and concludes with graduation on June. RSM students meet for local residencies in Rotterdam (usually Wednesday afternoon to Saturday afternoon). In addition, the program includes four required global residency experiences, each with a duration of approximately seven days. Curriculum Overview Global residencies: OneMBA participants from around the world come together for four week-long global residencies held on four continents. They participate in classes taught by local professors, visit regional and multinational companies and meet local business and government leaders. The North American, Latin American, Asian and European residencies include travel to emerging and developed countries. Global core courses: Between residencies, OneMBA participants attend global core courses at their home school. Each course includes a major project that requires working remotely with global team members from the other partner schools. Regional courses: Each school completes the curriculum with additional regional courses that are proven to accelerate career success in its world region. Personal Leadership Development (PLD): Leadership theory is undeniably fascinating and something you will intensively debate and discuss as part of the Global OneMBA program. Leadership itself is active though a practice, not a theory. RSM puts great emphasis on providing many reflective practical means for our OneMBA participants to actively discover and develop leadership capabilities.

Global Core Courses All OneMBA participants attend these global courses simultaneously at their home school, using a similar syllabus. Each course includes a global team project that requires you to work remotely with your OneMBA team members located around the world, simulating global work teams. Global Operations Management Learn to align operations strategy with overall business strategy, with emphasis on process analysis and supply chain management. You will learn concepts and tools needed to design, plan, drive and control service and manufacturing operations in a global economy. Leading and Managing Global Organizations Develop leadership and managerial skills that are critical to effective global managers. You will also explore the impact of cultural differences on personal and organizational effectiveness. Corporate Finance in a Global Environment Understand the financial frameworks that provide the foundation of global financial systems. With the rapid increase in crossborder transactions and foreign invest ment, the global economy is dependent on a seamless financial infrastructure.

Global Marketing Management Develop the skills required to market products and services in a global marketplace. Designed with a creative and analytic approach, the course will enhance your ability to provide solutions tailored to targeted customer groups. Strategy in a Global Arena A key challenge in developing a global business strategy is aligning your organization s resources with its long-term goals, while considering converging global forces and local issues. In this course, you will analyze the strategic challenges and choices organizations face when seeking to expand into developed and emerging markets. The Global Venture Project invites student teams to support actual businesses or not-for-profit organizations pursue their global aspirations success - fully. This provides an immediate transfer of learning through hands-on experience of strategy in a global arena.

Regional Courses Accelerate your career as a global leader Each OneMBA partner school supplements the global curriculum with regional courses. These courses are designed to further accelerate your career as a global leader. Detailed course descriptions are available at www.rsm.nl/onemba Personal Leadership Development (PLD) PLD runs throughout the RSM OneMBA program and develops critical thinking, decision-making and effective implementation skills through the process of behavioral change. Economics for Global Business Managers This course explores solutions based on the economist s perspective that people respond to incentives. You will apply micro-economic analysis to issues of organizational architecture. Financial Accounting and Analysis This course deals with two topics: an introduction to financial statement analysis; and an examination of the components of management control systems. Managing Systems in Business This course provides you with a different perspective on management and organizations. Change Management In this course participants discuss the traditional reasons behind resistance to change and explore a proposed framework and series of activities that management could consider to assist in managing effective change implementation. Managerial Decision Analysis This course presents the art and science of problem-solving and decision-making. You will learn logical and creative methods to better understand problems and set decision goals. Mergers and Acquisitions From a financial perspective, what is the driving force behind the large number of company mergers or takeovers? The answer lies in the creation of value for shareholders, but how does it work? Business Negotiations This course is based on improving both the behavorial and analytical skills necessary for negotiations in a business environment. Application Application Requirements Applicants may apply online through Embark (www.rsm.nl/applymba). The following is required for application to the Global Executive OneMBA Program at RSM: A minimum of six years work experience Undergraduate degree Fully completed Application Form Two letters of recommendation Official transcripts Non-refundable application fee of 00 Three Essays CV / Résumé Application Closing Date The application closing date for the program starting in September is September. Early submission is encouraged. OneMBA applications are evaluated by RSM s Admissions Committee, consisting of faculty and administrators. It is a comprehensive process and operates on a rolling-basis. The admissions interview is an essential part of the selection process. Final admissions decisions will be made after receiving comments from the interviewers. RSM s alumni network allows us to arrange and conduct personal interviews in most parts of the world.
