The centerpiece of the course is an intensive, field- - - based, hands- - - on workshop where all concepts are applied. Course Objectives After completing this 3- - - credit course, students will be able to: Analyze entrepreneurial trends and opportunities. Put innovation and design concepts into action as evidenced by their participation in creating a business plan. Evaluate plans for financial management of a business. Examine the legal and ethical issues relevant to business ownership. Assignment: Choose a corporation that has been involved in an ethical scandal and research it online. (Enter corporate and scandal into a search engine.) Present this story to the class. Practice as a group! 14 EXAM Due Business Plan Group Presentations Exam: Identify your three (3) best/most useful AHA s! Each AHA! will be approximately 500 words in length, and the final 1500- - - word paper will be uploaded as a Microsoft Word document (.doc or.docx) to the Dropbox on the published due date.
