INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT POLICY ON IP IN THE UNIVERSITY IP as activity in research and education, Establishing the company LTD to centralize for science-technology application and TT.

PROBLEMS CHALLENGES Time consumption for IP granting, Pressure of TT demands, IP understanding restricted, Professional knowledges limited, Plurality of offices and workload, Patent searching in units. IP AND TT PLANNING Member of IP-TT model for university (NOIP 12/09), Establishing the patent searching office (NOIP 12/09), Supporting the project of IP asset development and Business incubation at Can Tho city (2008-2010 and 2020) Improvement and completion the IP policy (2010), IP application for research results commercialized (2010), Organizing WS on cooperation between institutions and businesses in MD (12/09), IP training for CTU and local staff (2010), Abroad study on IP and TT management (UM, USA; EU and SEA in 2010)
