RECORD OF BOARD PROCEEDINGS (MINUTES) August 13, 2012 A regular meeting of the Campbell County Board of Education was held on Monday, August 13, 2012, 6:00 P.M. at the Alexandria Educational Center, 51 Orchard Lane, Alexandria, Kentucky. In attendance at the meeting were: Janis Winbigler, Chairperson Richard Mason, Vice Chair Susan Fangman Kim Fender Glen Miller, Superintendent Garry Edmondson, Board Attorney I. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Janis Winbigler, Chairperson. ACTION AGENDA Elect Secretary and Treasurer for the Board of Education 12-077 Motion by Fangman, seconded by Fender, to elect Superintendent Miller as the Secretary to the Board of Education and elect the Finance Director, Susan Bentle, as the Treasurer to the Board of Education. Approve Resolution 12-078 Motion by Mason, seconded by Fangman, to approve the resolution of the Board of Education of Campbell County School District as submitted per the recommendation of the Superintendent. BG#11-133 CCHS ATC, Addition, Alterations and Stadium Change Order No. 8 12-079 Motion made by Fender, seconded by Fangman, to approve change order number eight for BG # 11-133 as submitted by the architects per the recommendation of the Superintendent. IV. CONSENT AGENDA 12-080 Motion made by Mason, seconded by Fangman, to approve the consent agenda as presented per the recommendation of the Superintendent. The Board entered into executive session at 6:15 p.m. 12-082 Motion made by Fangman, seconded by Fender, to exit executive session and resume the regular meeting. VOTE: Winbigler-Yes; Mason-Absent; Fangman-Yes, Fender - Yes; Walch-Absent. The Board exited executive session and resumed the regular meeting at 8:20 p.m. VI. ADJOURN There being no further business to come before the Board, Ms. Winbigler entertained a motion to adjourn. 12-083 Motion made by Fangman, seconded by Mason, to adjourn the meeting. The meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
