What to expect: Upton Hall School s careers evening is a biennial event where a large number of employers, apprenticeship organisations, gap year representatives and university admissions tutors are meeting together to help provide you and your parents with information, guidance and advice in preparation for your future. The careers fair will enable you to: Conduct research to help you with future decisions and to explore various career opportunities. Meet employers and course providers face-to-face. Make personal contacts that can lead to work experience or work shadowing opportunities. Gather information from potential employers and find out what each of them values in its employees. Demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively and to gain valuable insights into the world beyond school
Welcome to Upton Hall School FCJ careers and higher education evening. Representatives will be available from 6pm until 8pm. Many representatives will be running talks in individual classrooms. Unless otherwise specified these talks will be at 6.15pm, 6.45pm and 7.15pm. Other representatives are available in the school hall and common room to answer individual questions and offer one to one advice and guidance.
