SPECIAL PROJECTS STED Science and Technology through Entrepreneurship Development project of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India wherein we need to set up 50 enterprises in Districts like Tiruvallur, Vellore in Tamil Nadu in a year for a period of 4 years with Science and Technology intervention. This was already done successfully in Kanchipuram. IVP - Innovation Voucher Programme for SMEs Innovations of the existing SMEs are funded by DEG, Germany and TFSC is implementing this programme.
SPECIAL PROJECTS TFSC has been approved as an Assessing Body for Tamilnadu and eight other States by the Directorate General of Employment & Training, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, for certification under Skill Development Initiative Scheme (SDIS) based on Modular Employable Skills. The main objective of this Scheme is to develop and assess employable skills of school leavers, existing workers, ITI Graduates, etc., to improve their employability and bring them into mainstream. The skill development scheme is under NCVT syllabus and the certification will be both nationally and internationally recognized.
