OFFICE OF THE DEAN STUDENTS WELFARE JAMIA HAMDARD, NEW DELHI NOTICE August 25, 2015 The Vice Chancellor has been pleased approve the schedule of events with Venue and Timings for the Sports and Cultural Week 2015, Teacher In-Charge of events (Sports & Cultural). Students desirous of participation are required give their names the Teacher Incharge/s of events (Sports & Cultural) up 31.08.2015. This is also be noted that a student is permitted participate in any one in outdoor games and two in indoor games under Category-I, and any two out of Cultural / Literary events i.e. under Category-II, as given below: Category-I : SPORTS AND GAMES Category-II : LITERARY AND CULTURAL EVENTS For the purpose of Stage Cultural Events on Cultural evening, MOSAIC 2015 SCREENING WILL BE CONDUCTED at the Faculty level by the Screening Committee of the respective faculty constituted / authorized by the concerned Dean. Only two short listed entries from the faculty for each stage event may also be entertained, except for the skit, wherein, only one team entry will be eligible from each faculty. Screening committee (while keeping the record of script of performances etc.) may kindly ensure that none of the performance contains any indecent dialogue / remarks, which may hurt the sentiments of any community, religion, region or gender. Deans of the respective faculties are also requested get the screening done for General Quiz, Seerat Quiz, & Bait-Bazi shortlist only one team comprising of three students (in each of these three events) from their faculty and forward the names the office of DSW. After particular event is completed the Teacher In-Charge/s are requested submit the results the office of the DSW (located at basement of Nano-Technology Building) for their inclusion in the final Prize Distribution list. RULES / REGULATIONS & GUIDELINES FOR LITERARY / CULTURAL & SPORTS WEEK (Sept. 11-14, 2015) Only one team is eligible from each Faculty duly approved by the concerned Dean for participation in Team events of Cricket, Foot Ball (8 player in a team) and Volley Ball. This is also be noted that a student is permitted participate in any one in outdoor games and two in indoor games and any two events out of Literary and Cultural activities (subject the condition that events are held in the different timings and not simultaneously). Category I : OUTDOOR AND INDOOR GAMES Category II : LITERARY AND CULTURAL EVENTS Games will start as per scheduled time and date notified by Sports Committee. The candidates should report five minutes before the schedule time the Convener of the events. If the participants does not report in time, the respective game event will move ahead the next participant. Players are advised come with their own equipments for practice. Sport materials will only be provided during the notified matches. All the students are required submit their entries Convener / concerned teacher of the respective event latest by 31 st August 2015; thereafter, no entry will be entertained. Accordingly, all concerned teacher In-charge/s are requested convene a meeting regarding respective events and plan conduct the events accordingly. The Mobile numbers of Literary / Cultural Coordinar and the Direcr Sports are mentioned below for effective coordination All the players are required follow the rules & regulations maintain the decorum & discipline during the Sports/ Cultural/ Literary events. In case of any non-compliance of rules & guidelines, suitable action will be initiated by University disciplinary Action Committee. The decision of the Umpire/ Refries/ Judges will be final and binding on all the participants. However, in case of any dispute the same will be resolved by Protest Committee / General Administration Committee. Students are advised take all precautions avoid injuries during the games.

Concerned Teacher in-charges / Conveners are requested complete the events within scheduled fixed dates / timings, and submit the authenticated & signed result sheet/s the DSW or Sports Direcr or Literary/ Cultural Coordinar for the Sports & Cultural / Literary activities respectively. In the MOSAIC 2015, be held on 13 th & 14 th September 2015, all the students are required carry their Identity Cards along with them, and shall provide it the concerned authority/s of the University on demand. It is required from the students maintain the decorum and discipline for the smooth functioning of the programme. Any Mischief / Misbehaviour / Indiscipline or Violation of Law & Order will be dealt with, firmly and will be liable for strict disciplinary action accordingly.
