Behavioral Health is Behavioral health is an interdisciplinary field dedicated to promoting a philosophy of health that stresses individual responsibility in the application of behavioral and biomedical science knowledge and techniques to the maintenance of health and prevention of illness and dysfunction by a variety of self-initiated individual or shared activities. Programme Objectives The curriculum covers Eastern and Western health philosophies and intervention approaches To provide a systematic and comprehensive training in behavioral health with a solid, culturally relevant and holistic orientation. To develop an evidence-based and integrative model of clinical practice in their workplace. To promote the betterment of body, mind and spirit well-being at both individual and community levels.

Practicum Group Problem-based learning Design and implementation of a group intervention project under supervision

Practicum Group Format Around 4-5 students in a group No less than 220 hours (including direct and non-direct contact hours) Final group report, final sharing session Venue Healthcare, education or community settings Duration Full-time: Sep 2017 May 2018 Part-time: Sep 2018 May 2019 Concrete meeting dates and time should be discussed with supervisor and group members

Dissertation Format Scholarly dissertation of 20,000 words Duration Full-time: Sep 2017 Jul 2018 Part-time: Sep 2018 Jul 2019 Concrete meeting dates and time should be discussed with dissertation supervisor

Admission Programme Entrance Requirements A Bachelor s degree with honours or the equivalent; Preferably a minimum of two years of relevant postqualification working experience; and An academic and work background in a field related to healthcare is preferred.
