The trainer demonstrated "How to use FTK" using water sample carried out by villagers from their homes. Swachhta Rath was there to carry Team members, awareness materials apart from airing of Audio Jingles. The reading of the sample from sallow hand pump of Sri Anwar Ali, indicated 10 NTU (upper limit: 10) turbidity, ph of alarming 5.0 (it could be rechecked by District Jal Nigam Laboratory) and 1.5 ppm Fluorides (upper limit: 1.5 ppm). Another sample from deep hand pump mark-2 from Sri Kedar Nath' house also indicated the 10 NTU (upper limit: 10) turbidity, normal iron (0.2 ppm), normal nitrate (10.0 ppm), and and 1.0 ppm Fluorides (upper limit: 15 ppm. It was very surprise to see a student of 8 th standard showed all steps of hand washing just before the fellow villagers. NGO distributed the awareness materials to Husband of Gram Pradhan and ASHA.
