TEACHER LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION PACKET Please complete this packet for your teachers and Include a resume in a pocket folder. When you apply to colleges, and for scholarship applications, you will usually be expected to submit a letter/s of recommendation. The following are the steps to take to obtain a letter/s of recommendation from your teacher: 1. Decide who you would like to write the letter/s. The application (college or scholarship) may tell you specifically who needs to write the letter/s and do exactly what is asked of you. This packet is designed for teacher recommendations. 2. Fill out this packet thoroughly so that the writer has enough specific information to be able to write the letter. There is a section for you, your parents/guardians, and your teachers. Detailed descriptions are very helpful for the writer. Give the completed packet to the person you have selected to write the letter/s at least THREE weeks before you need to submit it. Again, give these forms to the teacher at least THREE weeks before your deadline for submission! Remember to make copies of the completed packet for your records.
STUDENT INSTRUCTIONS If you need a letter of recommendation for your college application, scholarship, or other activity, complete this form and give it to the teacher you would like to write your letter/s.
