Students have also done exceedingly well in state level competitive examinations and SAT. It is gratifying to note that our students have ventured into diverse fields like Pharmacy, Architecture, Genetic studies and Microbiology, Bio medical engineering, Chartered accountancy, Company secretary, Law, Journalism, Fashion designing, Actuaries, Culinary etc. International Exposure:
5 Distinguished professors and Deans from 31 top international universities came to the school campus last year to provide specific orientation sessions. Students had the wonderful opportunity to gain significant international exposure through exchange programmes in Class XI with partner colleges in the UK, Netherlands (Holland ), Denmark and France. Students and faculty from these colleges also visited our campus and the interaction resulted in a fruitful and enriching experience. How do students balance ISC academics and preparation for competitive examinations? As mentioned before, school academics are neither greatly time-consuming nor stressful. The curriculum is designed in a way that it stresses on conceptual learning and does not require students to rote-learn/ present their answers in a particular way only. Thus, it lays a firm platform for preparation for competitive examinations. Students who attend school regularly and sincerely attempt periodic assessments find that they do not have to put in significant additional effort. ISC specific coaching/ tuition classes are therefore unnecessary and are discouraged. Our teachers provide additional academic support in school. Thus, most of the weekdays (after 1.40 pm) and weekends are available for preparation for competitive exams. ISC students have done exceedingly well in the past in competitive exams, as underlined above. PARENTAL ENGAGEMENT RELATED FAQS How often do parents get to meet the teachers?
