GENERAL INFORMATION The new graduation plan is called the Foundation High School Graduation Plan + Endorsements As part of the new Foundation Graduation Plan students and parents must select (in writing) an endorsement area and create a Four Year Plan Endorsement plan selection may be changed Students may earn more than one endorsement

Physical Education (or equivalent) 1 credit required can be taken in 9 th, 10 th, 11 th, or 12 th grade may earn a maximum of 4 credits in PE towards graduation

Fine Arts 1 credit required may be taken in 9 th, 10 th, 11 th, or 12 th grade Classes include: Art Music Dance Theatre

Languages Other Than English 2 credits of the same foreign language Spanish French German Latin

Electives 6 credits are required Any course that is NOT a required course is considered an elective credit Courses taken in middle school for high school credit will count toward this requirement

Complete 4-Year Plan Add Health in the blank next to PACE (unless you plan to take Health Science later ) Add PE or PE equivalent and any additional years desired Add Fine Arts course and any additional years desired Add Foreign Language and any additional years desired

Looking Ahead Next Friday, students will bring home their workbooks along with a blue copy of a blank 4-Year Plan Worksheet. Please review your student s plan, and together, copy their plan onto the blue form, sign, and return to Mrs. Lacey, the 8 th grade Counselor. Plans are due, with parent signature, by Friday, January 23 rd. Students will enter their plans into ccpathfinder on Monday, January 26 th.
