Our Organization National Organization Knights of Peter Claver, Inc. & Ladies Auxiliary is a national lay Catholic fraternal organization (membership totals over 18,000, for more information, www.kofpc.org Knights of Peter Claver was founded in 1909 by four Josephite priests and incorporated in Mobile, Alabama on July 12, 1911 Ladies Auxiliary was authorized in 1922 and recognized as a division in 1926 6 Districts (Central, Gulf Coast, Louisiana, Northern, Texas, and Western States) KPC 155 (St. Francis of Assisi Church, East Palo Alto) Member of Western States District (1,300+ members), www.kpcwsdc.com Council established on October 18, 1967 (43 Years) Ladies Auxiliary established on June 27, 1981 (29 Years) 2009 Membership: 14 Knights, 34 Ladies, 4 Junior Knights, and 7 Junior Daughters

2010 Accomplishments KPC Free Community Bar-B-Que Average of 167 dinners served (2,667 meals over the past 16 years) Coffee Duty over the past 4 years served 6,800 cups of coffee; 25,333 donuts; 68 gallons of milk; and 68 gallons of orange juice St. Vincent de Paul ongoing volunteer hours monthly, Thanksgiving and Christmas (Lady Melody McLaughlin leading the SVDP organization) Donated monetarily to St. Francis from fundraising activities over the many years (church festival, zydeco dances, fundraisers, etc.)
2010 Accomplishments Donated thousands of hours to the church and community as Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Prison Ministry, Communion to homebound, etc. Ladies Court 155 won 3 rd place Expansion Award (kudos to Gracious Ladies Martha Hanks and Verna Winston); also won 1 st place Early Bird Credentials Award for registration at the 2010 WSD Conference Newly initiated Lady Cruz Hyland is the Director of CCD at St. Francis of Assisi (500 students) Knights & Ladies of #155 held 9 joint meetings (more than any year) truly worked as one team to successfully organize and plan all necessary activities for Black History Mass, Family Initiation Day, St. Peter Claver Mass, Free Community Bar-B- Que, and Casino Bus Fundraisers (organized by Lady Wilma Guidry)

Looking Forward to 2011 Keep your Calendar of Activities near and dear Continue to focus on recruiting and increasing our membership Continue ongoing community and church volunteer and outreach efforts (to succeed we need everyone s help) Plan to attend the WSD conference at the Hilton Newark/Fremont Hotel (only 20 minutes away and we all need to represent #155) (April 29 May 1)
Looking Forward to 2011 National Convention will be at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles (July 29 August 4) New Focus on Technology & Communications in Western States District (Grand Lady Bradley is Chairperson for the Ladies Division). All Courts/Councils will assign an Information Coordinator to facilitate training and dissemination of information for each Court/Council. Special Recognition Ladies & Knights of Unit 155 always teaming in Christian outreach and fellowship (total of more than 509 years of service in our Noble Order) Jr. Daughters & Jr. Knights always willing to help especially with the free Bar-B-Que & holiday food baskets Families & Friends (our extended arms husbands, wives, brothers, and sisters who are not officially Clavers but very Claver-like ) always there to help & we could not do what we do without you!
