Students can register for all 5 trips for $175. (This fee includes transportation, chaperones, lift ticket and insurance. Registration deadline is December 9 for the package price. Priority is given to students registering for all five trips. Students may register for individual trips providing space is available. The cost for individual trips will be $40. Registration for individual trips will be available until the Tuesday before the trip on FeePay as space allows. There must be a minimum of 40 students to run this activity. After 50 students, registrations will be taken as long as there is space on available buses. Registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. The registration form, contract, waiver and fees will be completed on FeePay. Equipment: Students will be responsible for paying for their own rental of equipment once at the ski area. Ski and Snowboard rental packages are $21 at Wild Mountain and $19 at Trollhaugen. Rental packages include helmets. If you wish to rent helmets they can be rented for $4 at Wild Mountain and $2 at Trollhaugen. Please bring your student ID if you are planning to rent equipment. Lockers are available for personal belongings at both resorts for a nominal fee. We are asking you to please make sure that all of your student s equipment is properly labeled with his/her name. It would be helpful if you could bundle everything and put it in a ski/snowboard bag. This makes transportation and identification much easier. Lessons: We strongly encourage beginners to sign up for ski/snowboard lessons. Ski and snowboard lessons for beginners are free. Advanced lessons are $5 at Wild Mountain and $10 at Trollhaugen. Sign up for lessons with the Activities Office prior to the trip. The day of the trip, students should check in with ski/snowboard advisor when arriving at the resort. Transportation: We will leave the Middle School parking lot promptly at 3:00 p.m. on the day of the trip. Please stay with your student until the buses have arrived for loading. When you come to pick up your student(s) at the middle school, please DO NOT park in the loading area in front of the school. We need space to unload the buses. We will unload in front of the cafeteria entrance at approximately 10:00 p.m. Late pick up may result in your student being removed from the ski/snowboard club with no refund. Refunds: Refunds will not be given for students who miss a trip, however you can request a voucher BEFORE the trip is taken. No Refunds or Vouchers will be issued for students who have not communicated with the activities department before the trip. Chaperones will be Centennial School District staff and parents. An informational chaperone meeting will be held on November 22 at 6:00 pm in the CMS Learning Commons. All parents interested in chaperoning should plan on attending. Parent chaperones will be scheduled following the meeting. If you have any questions regarding this program, please call Cindy Hinman at (763) 792-5417.

Centennial Ski/Snowboard Club Information Rules and Regulations DEPARTURE TIMES: The buses will leave from Centennial Middle School promptly at 3:00 p.m. Buses will begin loading at 2:45 p.m. All students participating in this program MUST ride the bus to and from the ski area unless arrangements have been made in advance with the Activities Director. (The one exception is in case of injury.) RETURN TIME: The buses will arrive back at the Middle School at approximately 10:00 PM. Please make sure you are here to pick up your student(s) at this time. Late pick up may result in your student being removed from the ski/snowboard club with no refund. BAD WEATHER: Due to bad weather, it may sometimes become necessary to cancel a trip. Announcements will be made Friday at the school if possible. If it would be necessary to cancel a trip on Saturday, please call Cindy Hinman s voice mail at (763) 792-5417. For trips that are canceled every effort will be made to reschedule for another evening. INJURY PROCEDURES: PARENTS PLEASE INFORM YOUR SON OR DAUGHTER OF YOUR WHEREABOUTS DURING THE TIME WE WILL BE SKIING/SNOWBOARDING. Injured skiers/snowboarders will be taken to the First Aid Room. The ski area has the right to call an ambulance if they decide it is necessary. The advisor is informed, and he/she will inform the student s parent. There are two ways an injured skier/snowboarder will return after an injury: 1. The student waits and takes the bus back. 2. The parents drive to the ski area or the hospital and they drive the student home. *Please bring dry clothes when picking up an injured skier/snowboarder. BUS CONDUCT: SKIERS/SNOWBOARDERS WILL FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS GIVEN BY THE BUS DRIVER AND THE CHAPERONES. You must remain seated at all times when the bus is moving. There should be no changing of seats. No standing while the bus is moving or kneeling facing backwards. The use of profane language will be not be tolerated.
