They are excited to have children, but are hoping to wait until she finishes her Master's degree. He has the pleasure of overseeing the Sports and Recreation Ministry at Greenwood Christian Church in Greenwood, IN. He is a member of CSO and volunteers on GCC's Discipleship Team. He has an M.A. in Christian Ministry from Liberty University and a B.S. in Sport Management from Quincy University, where he received the Sport Management Award in 2006. He played one year of college baseball, sat the bench, and learned how good he wasn't. He likes to remind people regularly that he has no flaws because he is an only child and his parents reached perfection on the first try. Eric Duey grew up in Indiana near Chicago. He moved to England in 2010 where he was a youth pastor and rugby player while studying and receiving a degree in the Theology of Mission. In 2013 he returned to the US to take a position as the Sports & Fitness Ministry Director at Connection Pointe Christian Church near Indianapolis. Eric is a muchrespected next generation leader of the Sports Outreach Movement, in respect to his insightful thinking and innovative approaches to gospel-centered ministry. He is a regular part of planning and presenting on monthly webinars with CSO & CSRM. He is passionate, has a vision for the big picture and loves food, music, and sports.
Derek Ewalt serves as the Minister of Recreation at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. He and his team have a heartbeat for connecting families in the community to the body of Christ through Recreation Ministry. Before moving into his current role, Derek served as the Minister of Youth Sports for more than 6 years. After playing college basketball at Tennessee Temple University, Derek is completing his Bachelor of Science in Religion: Biblical and Theological Studies through Liberty University. Derek has been married to Shirynn for almost 9 years, and they re the proud parents of Camden (7), Mattie (5), Josiah (3), and Chloe (1). Jeff Fox has pastored and served in local churches in North Carolina, South Carolina and Connecticut for over 25 years. While serving a church in the Charlotte, NC area Jeff developed a sports ministry called Cross Point Sports. Church Sports Outreach was instrumental in assisting in the process of developing that ministry. In 2013 Jeff joined the staff of CSO where he serves as Network and Leadership Director. Jeff has a passion for assisting local churches to realize the potential of sports ministry and empower them to implement and maintain a Gospel-Centered Sports Ministry. Jeff has been married for 32 years to Kim and they have two children both of which were married in 2016. Tinsley Jones serves at Crestwood Presbyterian Church in Richmond, VA, as the Director of Recreation Ministry, striving to connect, serve, and love the community through gospel-centered sports and recreation. Prior to joining the staff at Crestwood, Tinsley worked for a packaging equipment company in the Sales & Marketing Department predominantly focused on resourcing the food industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Management from James Madison University and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Union Presbyterian Seminary. Although an avid sports fan in general, soccer remains a true passion. Tinsley coaches the youngest of players for a local soccer club in Richmond and still enjoys playing the beautiful game as well. Jay Martin is the Senior Director of Camp and Sport Outreach at Perimeter Church in Johns Creek, Ga. He and his team have a compelling passion to create highly
attractive environments that discover, develop and deploy lifetime disciple makers. They do this through a shared pursuit of becoming truly world class in bringing about mission minded transformation in their leadership development initiatives; Camp All-American and Sojourn Adventures. He has been in full time Camping and Sports ministry for 21 years. Jay is a wellrespected leader in the Sports Outreach Movement and his passion for developing Sports Outreach based on gospel-centered principles is renowned. He has an undergraduate and graduate degree in Management from Ga. Tech. He was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. He played football on the 1990 Ga. Tech National Championship Team. Following his playing career he stayed on and coached with Bobby Ross and Bill Lewis. He has been married to his wife Heather for 25 years. They have 3 kids: Jacob (19), Mallory (16) and Benjamin (13). He loves to hunt, fish, camp and spend time with his family. Steve Quatro is a much respected Sports Outreach Veteran. currently the Executive Director of Sports Outreach Los Angelos and adjunct Professor of Sports Ministry at Azusa Pacific University, Steve was CSRM's Director of Operations and was in the Realty Business prior to his call to ministry. Author of the seminal book "Intentional Outreach: A guide to Simple Sports Ministry, Church Planting and Sport Missions." Quatro has helped shape the local church Sports Outreach Movement and his ongoing consulting with local congregations encourages and trains them for warm, winsome and yet "intentional" sharing of the Good News of Jesus Christ. Steve is a friend to all and a mentor to many. Quatro excels at Racquetball having won the 2014 & 2016 California Singles Championship and placed as a Silver Medalist in 2015 for the 60-64 age group. He resides in Southern California with his wife Tina and together they are warmly engaged with their three adult/married children and a growing number of grandchildren. One humorous anecdote about Steve is the fact that he has a model train layout that circles his entire back yard which has been known to attract local brown bears who are intrigued by this hobby of Steve's. Bob Schindler has served as the Executive Director of Church Sports Outreach (CSO), since 2003. Prior to that, Bob was a church planter and senior pastor for 10 years and associate pastor for 8 years, all in East Tennessee. In both churches, Bob initiated sports ministries that served both adults and children, and were the primary outreach vehicle for both churches. Before entering the ministry as a vocation, Bob played professional golf for 4 years and was in business for six years, in both the chemical and software industries. Bob studied Chemical Engineering at Vanderbilt University and is currently pursuing his Masters in Religion with an emphasis in Christian Thought at Gordon Conwell Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina. Besides golf, basketball, and outdoor sports, Bob enjoys learning, analyzing and then synthesizing thoughts - especially about spirituality, sociology,
psychology, and sports. Schindler was ordained in the Bible Church movement and is currently a part of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA). His home church is Church at Charlotte, an EFCA church, where he and his wife are church supported missionaries. Bob is married to Beth, his wife of 40 years, and has four grown children, 1 girl and 3 boys, two daughters-in-law, two grandsons, and one granddaughter.
