Vendor Response to (A) (3): Canvas Cloud is a multi-tenant system, however, the partitioning of databases across multiple, redundant host servers provides logically and effectively segregated data by client institution as well as provides for efficient performance and security management. Each organization is identified through the use of a globally unique id (GUID) which is prepended to each object id within the organizations data structure. Institution structured data is contained within segmented database containers which are identified through the use of the aforementioned GUID.
