We need additional information on your response to in Section 3.xxx, monthly status reports. Please confirm that a monthly report that includes system disruptions, availability and performance data will be provided. Vendor Response to (A) (2): If selected as the provider, Instructure will be pleased to meet with NC officials and design a report that meets your precise needs and provide the report on a monthly basis. In addition, Custom reporting/information can be pulled from our status page API at http://doers.statuspage.io/. 3. We need additional information on your response to Section 3.u, architecture. How will North Carolina data be segmented from other customers? Please describe any measures taken, including, but not limited to, database segmentation. Vendor Response to (A) (3): Canvas Cloud is a multi-tenant system, however, the partitioning of databases across multiple, redundant host servers provides logically and effectively segregated data by client institution as well as provides for efficient performance and security management. Each organization is identified through the use of a globally unique id (GUID) which is prepended to each object id within the organizations data structure. Institution structured data is contained within segmented database containers which are identified through the use of the aforementioned GUID. NC State LEAs will be configured on their own cluster. 9020 South Sandy Parkway, Suite 300 Sandy, Utah 84070 800.203.6755
