PARENTS PLEASE NOTE SCHOOL TIMINGS 1. The regular School timings : Pre-primary : 8:45am - 12:10pm 2. Pre Primary students to accompany their parents in school uniform during Personal Interaction for open house scheduled in the communication Book. 3. Students should be punctual to school. 4. No Pre Primary student will be allowed to enter the class after 9 : 00am 5. No parent can come and meet the teacher during school hours unless a prior appointment has been taken for any urgent matter SCHOOL UNIFORM 1. The students must wear clean, ironed and appropriate uniform. The child is expected to be well groomed with proper haircut, clean and cut nails, right size uniform, ID card and polished shoes. 2. P.T uniform to be worn on mass drill days as mentioned in the dairy. 3. For Term I & II report days and for all school functions, the students must wear neat and clean school uniform along with the ID card. PUNCTUALITY AND REGULARITY 1. The Communication Book must be carried daily and signed regularly by the parents. 2. It is important to involve the child in school programmes and hence ensure they attend the school on mandatory days. 3. Parents must intimate the class teacher through the Communication Book if the student is absent for one day. 4. In case of absence due to severe illness for more than two days, a hand written application with a medical certificate should be given seeking permission for resuming school from the Principal. 5. In case of Infectious diseases, it should be notified immediately to the Principal through written application. 6. In case of prolonged illness and if you wish to copy or Xerox the missed work please note the timings for completion of work is 12 noon to 2 pm only
7. It is mandatory for at least one parent to attend all report days/open house meetings as scheduled and whenever required. 8. Motivate your ward to take pride in attending school programmes, celebrations and events etc. and refrain from planning outings, visits, vacations, other appointments on such days. 9. Monitor your child s academic performance throughout the year and support the school s efforts in helping your child progress. 10. Inform the teachers of any unusual development in the family or change in the physical and emotional environment. 11. Physical and health education are an integral part of the holistic development of the child, hence all children are encouraged to participate in all activities organised by the school. 12. A student will be exempted from physical activities only if severe medical conditions persist. To claim exemption, a hand written application from the parent and a medical certificate by a certified doctor, clearly stating the serious medical reason for such an exemption, must be submitted to the principal. GENTLE REMINDERS FOR PARENTS 1. Take prior appointment through the communication book to meet the teachers and avoid meeting them during the lunch and break hours. 2. Keep an open mind and accept responsibility when called for to discuss your child s overall performance. 3. Motivate your child to engage in constructive activities like reading, solving crosswords, playing scrabble, etc. during spare time. 4. Refrain from commenting about the teachers in the presence of your child. 5. Intimate the school immediately about any change of address, telephone number or E-Mail ID.
FIELD TRIPS / PICNIC : Field trips are an extension of concepts explored in the classroom. Field trips are an important part of the curriculum. The child learns better when they are provided with a hands on experience. Field trips are carefully planned, reviewed by our own staff to ensure the safety of every child. CANTEEN FACILITY : To promote healthy eating habits and to develop healthy communication and inter-personal skills among children during formative years, the school provides canteen facility in which break-fast is compulsory for Pre-primary. Books and Stationary All the books and stationary i.e. pencil box, crayons will be kept in the class. Please label write the name and the class of the child in and on the books (cover them with plastic) School Bag For the convenience of the students we would appreciate if the size of the school bag is appropriate, so that it is easy for them to handle. The school bag should contain a square shapes napkin of the size 12 x 12, communication book, an extra pair of clothes and a water bottle with a strap. Please ensure that all the belongings are labelled. Birthday Celebration We celebrate birthdays in the classroom. No return gifts are allowed. Students can wear a party dress. Parents are encouraged to donate a plant to the school for their ward's birthday. Distribution of sweets/ chocolates, gifts etc. is prohibited. This year onwards parents are requested to donate a plant on their wards birthday in order to help the School achieve the 'MISSION FOR ACHIEVEMENT' as per CBSE directives for VPMS Lohegaon. 'The School will achieve plantation of 800 indoor/outdoor plants and trees by the year 2018 creating environmental awareness among children and sensitizing the community towards the importance of Plants' Parents may donate the plants as mentioned below as they would grow well in our terrain.

Dracena SICK BAY The school is equipped with a sick bay that is handled by a qualified nurse. The school has also appointed a doctor on call who will visit the school as and when required. While every precaution is taken by the school to provide a safe and secure environment for students, in an unfortunate eventuality of an accident. The school will call the doctor on its panel and the child will be taken to a good hospital for any emergency treatment that is required. WITHDRAWALS The guardian must give a month s notice to withdraw a child from school. The Bonafide Certificate will be issued when all dues have been cleared. The Bonafide Certificate cannot be issued immediately on receipt of application for the same. A minimum of seven working days will be required for the issue of the same.
