Discipline How do you maintain control in a class of students from a variety of ages and backgrounds? Your class discipline can be instructional and meaningful while also emphasizing safety. Practical tips will be presented that can be used in a variety of settings. BL 1 Using the Story Bible stories should never be boring. Learn tips for making a Biblical narrative come live. Examples will be from the new 2015 Fall GNC curriculum of "God Speaks." Grade Shepherding part 2 There are plenty of resources available to help children grow in their Christian walk. Grab some ideas and begin planning how you can make the most impact as a grade shepherd this semester. The Value of an Emcee Having a skilled emcee in your club will make transitions from one activity to another become opportunities for review and emphasis. Learn effective strategies that speed up the pace, decrease distractions and discipline problems, prepare for the next event, and redeem the time. BL 3 The Invitation and Guiding a Child to the Savior Giving the invitation and counseling is the highlight of the club hour. We are going to break it down and provide practical tips to help you gain confidence in giving a clear invitation with every lesson. Examples will be from the 2015 Fall GNC curriculum "God Speaks." Computer Would you like help learning to use the GNC resources available for the computer? Learning how to use the computer and resources made for GNC can lower your frustration level, build confidence, and save you time. During this session, these resources will be shown and taught from the first step all the way to completion. Q&A, tutorials, and walk throughs will be available.
