Geography and Early India Geography of India Before Reading Strategy A-B-C Brainstorm Take out a blank sheet of paper and write Geography of India across the top margin and then list the alphabet A through Z with one letter per line. Before you read, write anything you already know about the geography of India using the letters of the alphabet as the first letter of your word or phrase. For example, you may write the word 'subcontinent' for the letter 'S', because the word 'subcontinent' begins with the letter 'S or you may write the phrase summer monsoon for the letter S because the phrase summer monsoon begins with the letter S.
