Mass Motivation & Mobilization Training, Havana Cuba: Sept. 1984 July 1985. Note: I was selected for this programme through an all India selection by the Cuban authorities, and obtained one academic year s training in Cuba for motivating people in social programmes with much practical observation. 20.11.2009 to till date During my period of service in the Centre of continuing and Adult Education & Extension (CCAEE), I have been involved in all aspects of its work, but the following activities my be especially mentioned. Field World In the area selected (villages, Dhaura, Patwari Ka Nagla, Qila Ka Nagla) for CCAEE, I have organized meetings to impart information and training in regard to: 1. National Integration 2. Community Health and First Aid. 3. Legal Literacy. 4. Chair canning 5. Book binding. 6. Candle Making I contacted resource-persons for these programmes and arranged lectures by them at JSN, under auspices of the Population Education Club. Literacy Campaign and Education a. Issued an appeal (under counter signatures of VC and Director, CCAEE, for volunteers to participate in National Literacy Mission, September 1993. On this appeal 120 student volunteers were given 7 days training (evenings) 18-24 January 1994, in which I acted as organizer and one of resource- persons. b. Led Literacy Marches on Republic Day and 16 th September 1995 at Dhaura Maafi (as Prabhat Pheris), involving School pupils and teachers. c. Worked as resource person at Satha (14.10.1997), Ghazipur (18.10.1997) and 25.10.1997) on functions organized by Z.S.S. in connection with National Literacy Campaign. d. Helped in organizing 4 day National Workshop on Alternative Approach to Primary Education through Continuing Education, inaugurated by Shri Anil Bordia; valedictory address by the Vice Chancellor, Aligarh 1821.02.2001 National Integration and Human Rights: a. Organized many nukkad nataks on themes of National Integration. b. Organized play Aaj Ka Hindustan at Aligarh Exhibition, 16.02.1995 with student actors.
c. Prepared video-cassette of Pagal Desh-Premi, a National Integration play June 1994, and organized its showing in various localities. d. Organized many lectures on National Integration themes on Human Rights. e. Organized one day workshop on Human Rights, Aligarh 6.11.2000. f. Organized workshop on people s Health, Aligarh 24.09.2000. g. Held Health Camp at Jatpura, 22.10.2000. Computer Training: Organized 2 months training courses in Computer Science, AMU, Computer Application and Programming, December 1994 February 1995, with 25 trainees (including senior teachers). Was in-charge in the CCAEE camp in the CCAEE camp in the Aligarh Exhibition, illustrating Environment-building for Adult Education, February 1995, winning award as the best stall. b. Contacted correspondents to cover CCAEE activities (File of newspaper-reports in Amar Ujala, Aaj, Dainik Jagran, Rashtriya Sahara, Qaumi Awaz). These help in improving University City relations, Mention is made in these reports of my speeches/lectures also. c. Have helped set up stalls of the CCAEE at the Aligarh Exhibition in all Exhibitions from 1996 onwards. Debate on Adult Education:
