Course length and session availability also vary depending on location. Please contact your relevant campus for more information on our short courses. SAE does not issue ecoes for Visa applications for short courses. Short courses can only be booked for international students if they have valid entry permission for Australia. This 6 month part-time programs are also known as the Electronic Music Production course (EMP). SAE does not issue ecoes for Visa applications for the EMP course. The EMP course can only be booked for international students if they have valid entry permission for Australia. Please note that VET FEE-HELP is not available for this course. The following fee schedule applies to the 2 year full-time Degrees, which include the Bachelor of Audio Production and the Bachelor of Film Production. PAyment options, FEE-HELP & VET FEE-HELP OUTLINE OF PAYMENT options FEE-HELP & VET FEE-HELP Domestic students that meet the requirements outlined in the FEE-HELP or VET FEE-HELP information booklet, may choose to defer their tuition fees through the Commonwealth Government FEE-HELP or VET FEE-HELP loan scheme. Fees are processed on the census date of each trimester, based on the HE unit or VET unit price. Students can apply for FEE-HELP or VET FEE-HELP assistance with their campus. For further details see FEE-HELP or VET FEE-HELP Information Booklet or visit www.goingtouni.gov.au Total Course in Advance International The 1st Trimester of the tuition fees must be paid on initial registration. The remainder of the total course fees are paid 30 days prior to the commencement of the 1st Trimester. Students paying the total course fee in advance will receive a 10% discount on the tuition fees. Trimester Instalments Domestic Unless through the FEE-HELP or VET FEE-HELP scheme, tuition fees are paid in instalments at the beginning of each Trimester, with the first payment due on the course commencement day. International The 1st Trimester of the tuition fees must be paid on initial registration. All further tuition fees are paid in instalments at the beginning of each subsequent trimester. Additional Costs FOR ALL COURSES OFFERED AT SAE Institute (not compulsory) Study Resources In addition to the resources that SAE Institute provides, individual students may require one or more of the following. These items may be available for purchase from SAE Institute. CD-R, DVD, audio tapes, DV tapes, writing materials, submission folders, etc. Additional text books, magazine subscriptions, on-line memberships or access to other information resources. Additional electronic devices (headphones, calculators, etc) and secondary storage media (CD-R, DVD-R, external hard drive, etc) for backup and storage of computer files including audio and video data. How to pay fees FEE-HELP / VET FEE-HELP FEE-HELP and VET FEE-HELP is currently only available for higher education courses and selected VET courses. Please ask your desired campus for eligibility. If the applicant is an Australian citizen or a holder of a Humanitarian Visa they may elect to pay tuition fees via FEE-HELP or VET FEE-HELP.
