Note: It is the pacing authors opinion that out of the 24 Standards for mathematics, there are three standards which lack depth in the Holt textbook: 7.G.2 in the Geometry domain is only partially addressed in Chapter Eight Section Six in that it does not provide students with enough opportunities to draw independently. 7.NS.3 in the Number System domain comprehensively addresses all rational numbers save for complex fractions. 7.RP.1 in the Ratios and Proportional Relationships domain comprehensively addresses the standard save for providing students with opportunities to work with complex fractions.
