The $118,288.78 price increase per year is based on new required licenses based on expanding number of devices in the district. Microsoft licensing pricing is now based on the number of devices at the onset of the contract term. DISCUSSION: The requested is for a five (5) year contract that continues software licensing from the previous five year awarded vendor. The software provides enterprise licensing for operating systems, business applications, anti-virus, malware and other security protections. The contract offers Microsoft Office applications to our teachers and students for home and instructional uses. CONTRACT TERM: The initial contract term shall commence June 14, 2018 and continue until June 13, 2023. RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of Russell Cheatham, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Technology to approve the attached agreement with Crayon Software Experts, LLC in the amount of $2,742,729.00.
