It prvides the student a basic understanding f intelligence, achievement, and special aptitude and persnality testing, thus the basic terminlgy f data gathering and analysis is critical. Emphasis in this curse is placed n the interpretatin and use f data gathered thrugh testing t imprve educatin. Evaluatin Frmat Requirements fr Submittals: All submittals must be prfessinal papers. D nt submit yur assignments in a hmewrk r schl assignment frmat. Each submittal shuld be written as if it were an actual prfessinal paper ready fr publicatin r fr transmissin t the addressed recipient using APA. Grammar, typgraphical errrs, prper paragraphing, and spelling are imprtant; have smene prf read yur papers. All submittal must cmply with the sixth editin f the APA Publicatin Manual. Use Times New Rman, #12 fnt with ne-inch margins n all sides. Included charts and graphs must als fllw APA frmat. If Internet surces are cited, care must be taken t prvide currently valid references. Electrnic references are discuraged; utilize electrnic surces that prvide valid reference infrmatin r that prvide infrmatin needed fr an APA style reference: authr s name, date f publishing, editr, publisher, etc. Assignments submitted with ne r mre unacceptable errrs in APA frmatting must be crrected and resubmitted befre the instructr will grade it. A ne-time ten percent penalty will be assessed n papers that must be resubmitted n all but the first assignment.

If yu are using smething ther than MS Wrd yu must save yur file in rtf frmat. Grading: A grade sheet is prvided n Blackbard. Grades are based n the percentage f the pints earned. A letter grade fr the curse will be assigned based n the fllwing system: 90 100 % A 80 89 % B 70 79 % C 69 % r lwer F (There will be n grade f I fr incmplete) Yur grade is the percentage f the pints yu earned. Yu receive pints fr each assignment as indicated n the assignment instructin page and yur Blackbard grade sheet. The quantities f pints yu earn are determined by the instructr s evaluatin f yur perfrmance. There is a penalty fr turning in assignments in an unacceptable frmat r late. Assignments must be psted n Blackbard n later than midnight f the date they are due. There will be a 10% penalty, per day, fr each day that an assignment is late. If an assignment is submitted befre the due date but is unacceptable because f imprper APA frmat, the student will be ntified and the paper must be crrected and resubmitted. A ne-time penalty f ten percent f the ttal pssible scre n that assignment will be assessed n any unacceptable paper. VII.
