These three words define what makes Ursuline College a special place to be. Since 1871, we have been dedicated to developing not only the intellectual lives of young women but also their spiritual and unique individual potential. As the first women s college in Ohio and one of the oldest in the country, we have stayed constant with these three core principles that inform how we educate and nurture our students. Each year hundreds of students transfer to Ursuline to complete a bachelor s degree. Ursuline understands the needs of transfer students and helps to make the transition smooth and seamless. CAMPUS is located on a beautiful, 100-acre wooded campus in Pepper Pike, Ohio, just 15 miles east of Cleveland. Ursuline s campus is safe, intimate and easily accessible.
STUDENT BODY is 93% women. Of our enrolled students, 28% are from underrepresented populations. Enrollment is around 1,500 and our student-to-faculty ratio is approximately 9:1. Of our total undergraduate enrollment, 64% are transfer students.

Affordable is a common description among our students of an Ursuline education. Overall, 86% of our students receive some type of aid. Ursuline is in the lower middle third of tuition rates for private colleges in the state of Ohio. Transfer scholarship opportunities are plentiful and begin with a 3.0 GPA and above.
Admission Materials Requested Please submit the following items for review: Online application (no fee) Transcripts from all colleges attended (If you have earned less than 30 credits at the college level, you will also need to submit your high school transcript.) Nursing students, an academic or professional letter of recommendation Nursing students who have been enrolled in a nursing program, a letter of good standing from the Dean or Director of Nursing The review process typically takes less than two weeks. Your admission counselor will contact you with the official decision, and you will also receive a letter in the mail. Ursuline s Office of Counseling and Career Services provides a wide range of personalized services to help students develop their perfect career path. Professional staff provides a variety of services to promote student development including career search strategies, resume preparation, access to employers, relevant programming, as well as career and personal counseling. Students are strongly encouraged to obtain pre-professional experiences through participating in internships, cooperative education and mentoring. Ursuline Resources for Success in Academics (URSA) provides a variety of services and programs to help students have a successful educational experience. All students with documented disabilities may take advantage of basic academic support services and accommodations after meeting with a representative from the Office of Academic Support and Disabilities Services. These support services are rights guaranteed to individuals with disabilities and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Beyond Ursuline there is the business world and the greater community. In a survey of Ursuline College graduates, nearly 70% reported that they were working in their field of study at graduation, as compared with the national average of 45.3%.
