Choose and produce an equivalent form of an expression to reveal and explain properties of the quantity represented by the expression. a. Factor a quadratic expression to reveal the zeros of the function it defines. Includes trinomials with leading coefficients other than 1. The primary benefit is to simplify a complex formula so that it can be solved more easily. Example: The quadratic equation can be transformed and solved as a simpler equation.
