Vacant seat (due to non-joining/non-reporting) Sent back to Deemed/Central University on 26 th May (Mop up counseling by respective Universities) *Facility for Registration will be available for Round-1, beginning of round 2 and mop-up round only, on dates as specified in Counseling Schedule. For eligibility of registration please read Frequently Answer Questions. **Joining at allotted Institution is necessary, if candidate allotted seat fails to join the allotted college/seat within stipulated time, before last date of joining (as per counseling schedule), the allotted seat will be cancelled. Please also see Counseling Schedule, Notice and News/Events section to note change in scheme, from time to time regularly.

A. In compliance of the Directions of the Hon ble Supreme Court in Hon ble Supreme Court Order dated 12.02.2016 in IA No. 10/2016 in 16/2012 in Civil Appeal No 1944 of 1993, by Anand S. Biji Versus State of Kerala & Ors. And As per new Notification received from MCI dated 5 th April, 2018, new Revised FAQ s are present below:- The Scheme of All India Quota/ Deemed/ Central University Post Graduate Courses online Counseling (allotment process) has been revised. All Candidates are requested to go through the revised scheme carefully and understand before participating in online counseling (allotment process). B. the Scheme is further explained in the following Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs): Revised Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) dated 9 th April, 2018 For All India Quota/ Deemed/ Central Universities Online Counseling for Post-graduate Medical/ Dental /Diploma Seats Q. No. 1: What is the process of online allotment? Ans. a) Main counseling Registration which will include payment of Non Refundable Registration fee and Refundable Tuition fee to be adjusted for first year fee. b) Exercising of Choices, indicative seat allotment process and Locking of choices. c) Process of Seat Allotment -Round-1 d) Publication result of Round-1 e) Reporting at the allotted Medical/Dental College against 1 st Round. f) Fresh New Registration for Round-2 for candidates who have not registered in Round I(with full payment of fees) who Resigned / Not reported in Round I can log in again (Candidates who registered for Round I and did not get any seat allotted need not register again.) g) Fresh Choice filling Round-2. h) Publication result of Round-2. i) Reporting at the allotted Medical/Dental College against Round 2 End of AIQ Quota Round j) Mop Up Round (Only for Deemed and Central Universities) Fresh Registration for Mop Up for candidates including those who registered in Round I& exited /who registered in Round II & exited with Forfeiture of fees. However candidates who have already joined and taken admission in Round II of AIQ/ Deemed/ Central Universities will not be eligible to participate in Mop Up Round.(Those who registered but were not allotted a seat in Round I & Round II need not register again). Fresh choice filling of Mop Up Round Publication result of Mop Up Round Reporting at the Allotted Medical/ Dental College after Mop Up Round List of ten times (of the registered candidates) of number of Stray vacancies to be sent to Deemed / Central Universities to be exhausted strictly in order of merit.

Final Stray Vacancy Round to be conducted by Deemed/ Central Universities (There will be no Fresh Registration of Candidates in Final Stray Vacancy Round) PLEASE NOTE THAT REGISTRATION FACILITY SHALL BE AVAILABLE AT THE BEGINING OF FIRST ROUND, SECOND ROUND & MOP UP ROUND OF DGHS ONLY ON NOTIFIED DATES. THEREAFTER, REGISTRATION FACILITY SHALL NOT BE AVAILABLE. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ANY REQUEST (FOR ANYREASON) FOR REGISTRATION, SHALL BE ENTERTAINED AFTER CLOSING OF REGISTRATION. Q. No.2: When will online allotment process for this year start? Ans.: Online allotment process will start as per counseling Schedule for PG online Counseling for this year. Please See Schedule available on www.mcc.nic.in website. Q. No.3: Do I have to report to any counseling centre for registration or choice filling? Ans.: No. Online registration and choice filling can be done from place of convenience (Including from home) using internet. Q. No.4: Do I require any documents to get registered on-line? Ans.: You will be required to fill up some of the information that you have given (filled up) on your application form, and submitted to National Board Examinations (NBE), New Delhi and information available of admit cards of AIPGMEE/AIPGDEE. IMPORTANT Please keep information that you have furnished (filled up) on application form a n d admit card, confidential, and do not share it with anybody as this information will be required to register for online allotment process and to submit choice. If somebody else uses that information, he/she can misuse y o u r o n l i n e registration and prevent you from taking part in online allotment process. Keep print out of application form ready for reference with you. Q. No.5: What information do I require for online registration? Ans.: Please note that you will be asked to fill some of the information (we are not showing it here for security reasons) that you have given in your application form, admit card of examination during online registration and provided by the examination conducting agency, (NBE) therefore keep a copy of your application form and admit card ready for reference. These documents may be retained as they may be required till you complete your PG course.

IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE THAT ON REGISTRATION WINDOW OF ONLINE ALLOTMENT PROCESS, YOU HAVE TO FILL IN EXACTLY SAME SPELLING, NUMBERS ETC AS YOU HAVE FILLED IN YOUR APPLICATION FORM Q. No.6: How do I get password for logging in? Ans.: During the process of online registration you will generate your own password. Candidates are advised to keep the password that they have created, confidential to them till the end of the counseling process. They can change the password after creating. Password is very important for participating i n online allotment p r o c e s s. Sharing of password can result in its misuse by somebody else, leading to even exclusion of genuine candidate from online allotment process. Q. No.7: How much time will I be given to join the allotted course? Ans.: Candidates allotted seats will be required to join the allotted college/course within stipulated time from the date of allotment as mentioned in the counseling schedule. However, candidates are advised to join as early as possible and not to wait for last day of joining, due to different schedule of holiday/working hours in various Medical/Dental Colleges, also keeping in v i e w t h a t Medical/Dental colleges will h a v e t o f u r n i s h information a b o u t joining/non-joining online to Medical Counseling Committee. In some of the Colleges it takes 2 to 3 days time for completion of admission formalities. Q. No.8: What documents are required at the time of Counseling? Ans.: Since it is online allotment (Online Counseling) process, no documents will be required for participating in online allotment process. However they are required to carry Original Certificates/Documents at time of Reporting for Admission. Without Original Certificate/Documents candidates will not be allowed admission. Q. No.9: What documents are required at the time of joining in allotted Medical/Dental College? Ans.: Original documents required at the time of joining in allotted Medical/Dental College are as mentioned below: i. Admit Card issued by NBE ii. iii. iv. Result/Rank Letter issued by NBE Mark Sheets of MBBS/BDS 1 st, 2 nd & 3 rd Professional Examinations. MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate. v. Internship Completion Certificate/Certificate from the Head of Institution or College that the candidate shall complete the Internship by 31 st March, of the year of admission. vi. vii. Permanent/provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI or DCI/State Medical or Dental Counsel. Provision Registration Certificate is acceptable only in cases where candidate is undergoing internship land likely to complete the same on or before 31 st March of year of admission. High School/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate as proof of date or birth.

Candidates allotted seat must carry one of the identification proofs (ID Proof) to the allotted college at the time of admission (as mentioned in the information Bulletin published by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for AIPGMEE i.e. PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport or Aadhar Card). The Candidate should also bring the following certificates, if applicable a) SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority (in the format as specified in the prospectus) and should be in English or Hindi language. Sub caste should be clearly mentioned in the certificate. b) OBC certificate issued by the competent authority. The sub-caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. The OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer. The OBC certificate must be in the format as mentioned in the prospectus. c) Disability Certificate issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board for 21 Benchmark Disabilities as per the Rights of Persons with Disability Act,2016. No other PH certificate, issued by any other Authorities/ Hospital will be entertained. Candidates without original certificates/documents shall not be allowed to take admission in allotted Medical/Dental College. Candidates who have deposited their original documents with any other Institute/ College/University and come for admission with a certificate stating that "their original certificates are deposited with the Institute/College/University shall not be allowed to take admission in allotted Medical/Dental College. Q. No. 10: What are the instructions regarding OBC, SC, ST & PH certificates? Ans.: Please read Information Bulletin for admission to post-graduate medical courses for admission to 50% of total PG seats on All-India basis carefully. The certificate requirements are mentioned in prospectus along with format. The certificate as mentioned in the prospectus only will be acceptable. Candidates are requested to read prospectus and instructions regarding Caste and Physical Handicap (PH) Certificate carefully. In case the candidate fail to produce proper Caste (and PH, if applicable) certificate at allotted Medical/Dental College then he/she will not be permitted to join the allotted Medical / Dental College and his/her category will be changed, if otherwise eligible. Further the reservation of seats under PH Category has been increased from 3% to 5% in AIQ and the 21 Benchmark Disabilities as envisaged under the regulations of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 have been included presently where only the lower motor disabilities were included earlier. The qualified physically handicapped (PH) candidates should get themselves certified at one of the under mentioned Disability Assessment Boards, constituted at the four metro- cities: (i) Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjang Hospital, Ansari Nagar, (Ring Road), New Delhi-110029. (ii) All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Hazi Ali, Park, K. Khadya Marg, Mahalaxmi, Mumbai-400034. (iii) Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research, 244, Archarya J.C. Bose Marg, Kolkata-20. (iv) Madras Medical College, Park Town, Chennai-600003.

The Physically Handicapped candidates are required to bring their treatment papers related to their disability, including the investigation reports, at the time of reporting to the above mentioned designated institute for such disability certificate. Reference: MEDICAL COUNCIL OF INDIA, Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations, 2000, (MEDICAL COUNCIL OF INDIA AMENDMENT NOTIFICATION dated the 21st December, 2010), MEDICAL COUNCIL OF INDIA, Pocket 14, Sector 8, Dwarka, NEW DELHI 110 077. IMPORTANT: Qualified PH Category candidates are advised to get themselves examined immediately at one of the above mentioned disability assessment board and to obtain disability (PH) certificate. The qualified candidates are requested to send a self attested photocopy of disability certificate with mention of their Name, All India Quota Rank, Postal Address, Mobile Telephone Number, alternative contact number and E-mail id by email (address: aiqpg-mcc@nic.in) and by Speed Post (to Assistant Director General (Medical Education), Room Number 354, A-Wing, Nirman Bhawan, Maulana Azad Road, New Delhi, Pin code 110108). Q. No.11: Is there any restriction for filling up number of choices of Institutions (Colleges) or subjects in choice filling form? Ans.: No, you can give as many choices as you wish. However choices should be in order of preference, as the allotment is done on the basis of choices submitted by the qualified candidate in order of preference given by the candidate and as per availability. Q. No.12: Can I have some idea about the seat I am likely to get at my rank? Ans.: You can have some idea by a) Please log on to www.mcc.nic.in / www.mohfw.nic.in website from home page go to medical counseling open post-graduate counseling (for previous years) open composite allotment list. From the information that you will see, you get some idea of pattern in previous year(s). This will only be indicative (without any guarantee for the current year). b) Processing of Mock Counseling Result and publication of Indicative Seat Allotment During the Mock Counseling, choices submitted by the candidates will be processed once during the counseling period (Registration) and indicative seat that is likely available at that point of time would be displayed, before allotment of Round-1. This result of indicative helps the candidate to refine the selection of choices more effective and efficient manner. Indicative allotment of seat (Mock allotment), will be shown once on notified date (will be notified on this MCC website). The result will be made available on the next day. In case no indicative seat is shown as allotted to you, this indicates that none of the choices submitted by you were available at your rank. Hence you should modify your list of choices as per your rank. Q. No.13: Is it necessary to fill up the choices and lock the choices to get seat allotted? Or I will be allotted seat automatically from available seats? Ans.: After online registration (registration is compulsory to take part in online allotment process), you have to fill in choice of subjects and Institutions/colleges in order of preference. Once choice is filled in, it can be modified before locking it. During t h e choice locking period it is necessary to lock the choices to get a print of your submitted choices. If candidate does not lock the choice submitted by him/her, submitted choices by him/her will be automatically locked on notified date at notified time, however you will

be allowed to take a print of your choices after that but you will not be permitted to modify your choices. If you don t register and fill in any choice, you will not be allotted any seat. If you register and do not fill in any choice, you will not be allotted any seat. IMPORTANT: Don t wait till the last minute to lock your choices and to take a printout. Please go through your submitted choices before locking as once you lock the choices the same cannot be modified or changed even if you have made a mistake. Mistake in f i l l i n g choices may result in allotment of a seat which you never wanted. Q. No.14: Is it necessary to join allotted Medical/Dental College to get chance to participate in next round (2nd round)? Ans.: In case a seat is allotted during the Round I candidate may join the allotted institution/college and complete the admission formalities however candidates who have exited from Round I, availing the free exit may participate again in Round II after logging in with their earlier Registration details. Please note that in case you do not give option to participate in Round-2 at the time of joining of seat allotted during Round -1, you will not be considered eligible for participating in Round-2 i.e. for up-gradation of your choice (only for those candidates who have joined & reported during Round I of Counseling). Q. No.15: What is second round of online allotment process? Ans.: Second round of online allotment process is Fresh Registration, Fresh choice filling and fresh allotment of seat as per choice and merit. There will be fresh registration of candidates and fresh Choice submission in 2 nd Round for candidates who have not registered in 1 st Round of Counselling and eligible candidates will be allotted seat on basis of choice and merit of the candidate. Who are eligible for 2 nd Round of allotment? Candidates eligible for seat allotment in 2nd round would be from one of the following groups: Group I: Registered candidates who did not get any seat allotted in the 1 st round. Group-II: Registered candidates, whose 1st round of allotted seat got Cancelled during the document verification on reporting for admission, who have secured seat under reserved quota, due to change of Category from reserved to Unreserved or PH status from Yes to No, but are still eligible in the next round of seat allotment, with changed Category, subject to fulfillment of eligibility conditions. Group III: Candidates who have reported/joined at allotted institute during the joining period of round-1 of allotment and submitted willingness for participating in second round up-gradation as Yes. Group- IV Candidates who exited during Round I availing Free Exit can log in again with their earlier Registered details.. Who are not eligible for 2 nd Round of allotment? Candidates who do not have valid documents at the time of admission.

The conversion of seats will be carried out during the second round of seat allotment for AIQ and Mop Up Round for Deemed and Central Universities. Accordingly, the candidates are required keep this aspect also i n mind while filling up the seats during choice filling period before allotment of Round-1. The conversion of vacant reserved seats will be done as per the following algorithm after allotment of seat during Mop Up Round o f Deemed/ Central Universities to PH/Reserved category candidates: ST ( PH) -> ST SC (PH) -> SC UR (PH) -> UR OBC (PH) -> OBC OBC ST -> SC SC-> UR There will not be any indicative a l l o t m e n t i n 2 nd Round of allotment and Mop Up Round of MCC. Q. No.16: Do I have to fill-up choices of subject and College to participate in second Round of online allotment process separately? Ans.: Yes, for second round and Mop Up round of Deemed/ Central Universities, candidates are required to submit fresh choices. During the second round of online allotment process, the choice of higher preference will be considered for up-gradation for those candidates who give option to upgrade their choice at the time of admission at allotted Medical/Dental College. During Round-2, fresh allotment will be considered for those eligible candidates who could not be allotted seat due to non-availability of seat in Round-1, (subject to availability of seat) and for candidates who have logged in again in Round II after Free Exit from Round I. Q. No.17: If sufficient number of qualified PH candidates are not available then, what will happen to those un-allotted PG seats, reserved for PH candidates? Ans.: The un-allotted PG seats earmarked for UR-PH, SC-PH, ST-PH and OBC- PH will be reverted/converted to respective categories like SC-PH to SC and so on, during the second Round of AIQ and Mop Up round (Deemed/ Central Universities) of allotment process after processing choices to PH category candidates in second round. Q. No.18: If I give consent for up-gradation of my choice during Round-I and if my choice is upgraded, is it necessary to join at college allotted during second round? Or in case I change my decision of upgrading choice, can I continue to study in college allotted through first round of allotment? Ans.: In case candidate is allotted seat during the Round I of allotment process (choice is upgraded), the seat allotted during the first round will be automatically cancelled immediately (and allotted to somebody else eligible as per merit) and candidate will have to join the college/seat allotted during second round. If candidate does not join the college/seat allotted during the second round, with in stipulated time, as per schedule his Refundable Tuition fee will be forfeited.a f t e r j o i n i n g t h e a l l o t t e d i n s t i t u t e i n R o u n d I I t h e c a n d i d a t e w i l l n o t b e e l i g i b l e to participate in any other round of counseling (For AIQ as well as Deemed/ Central University counseling. The names of such candidates who have joined in Round II of AIQ/ Deemed/ Central Universities will be circulated to all state counseling authorities for prohibiting them to participate in any counseling. Seat can also be up-graded in the same college by change of category (i.e. ST/SC/OBC to UR or PH to non-ph seat) in such a case the candidate has to take fresh admission on the up-graded seat.

Q. No.19.: If I give option to participate in Round-II at the time of joining college from first round allotment, but later change my decision and want to continue study at already allotted Medical/Dental College, what is the procedure to avoid change (cancellation) of already allotted college/seat? Ans.: The candidate need not fill any fresh choices for Round II and the earlier seat will be retained. Q. No.20: If I forget my password that I have created during the process of registration, how to retrieve it. Ans.: To retrieve the forgotten password, system facilitates the following process: The candidate is required to enter the information that he/she filled at the time of registration and then the security question & answer thereon to be entered as given during New Candidate registration process. The above data submitted by candidate will be validated with the registered candidates database. If the above entries match, then only the candidate would be permitted to enter new password to proceed further. IMPORTANT Candidates are a d v i s e d to r e m e m b e r the password and also retain their application form and admit cards printout ready till completion of admission process. It is not possible for MCC/NIC to retrieve such password. Q. No.21: In case I have Birth Certificate/Caste Certificate/other certificate(s) in regional language, will it be acceptable at the time of reporting/joining? Ans.: Certificates issued by the competent authority should be in English or Hindi language. Please remember that some of the states insist for certificate in English language only. Candidates are advised to carry Certified Copy of English version of the original certificate, in case certificate issued is in other than English language along with original certificate. Q. No.22: If there is discrepancy in spelling of name in documents and application form, what do I do? Ans.: If there is discrepancy in spelling in documents candidate must carry proof that t h e documents belongs to same person, in form of an affidavit/undertaking. Q. No.23: Can I get prospectus (information Bulletin) of All India Post Graduate Medical/Dental Entrance Examination for the current year for admission to All India Quota post- graduate Medical/Dental courses for admission to 50% of total seats on all- India basis? Ans.: Copy of prospectus is available on NBE website http://www.nbe.gov.in and www.mcc.nic.in for Medical /Dental Seats. Q. No. 24: What about condition of Stipend/fee structure/course duration/bond amount/rendering of service in rural/tribal area/other conditionalties. Ans.: Stipend /fee structure/ course duration / bond amount / rendering of service in rural / tribal area/other conditions etc. may vary from State to State and Institute to Institute. Some seats may be approved/ permitted but not yet recognised by MCI. The allotment made through online allotment process will be firm and final as per Hon'ble Supreme Court's directions. Therefore, the candidates should well examine these points before opting for a seat at a medical college. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) shall neither be responsible nor shall entertain any case on above grounds, if any. has been made available on Ministry of Health & Family Welfare / MCC website (under the Medical Counseling - Post-graduate Counseling - Information about college, fee, bond information etc.). Candidates are advised to visit the website of college/ institution to check the information. In case they require any additional information, they can contact the college / institution on telephone. Q. No. 25: How to use registration and Choice filling form on website? Ans.: Candidates will have to log on to website www.mcc.nic.in to get registered (Registration facility will open on dates as mentioned in Schedule) and then fill in choices. It is advised that after going through the seat matrix, a tentative list may be prepared first as per your preference of subjects and colleges, before attempting to fill choices on-line. Q. No. 26: What is indicative seat allotment (mock counseling) result? Ans.: Indicative seat allotment is the seat available for allotment to candidate at the time of processing of data by computer from choices submitted by the particular candidate. The indicative seat is to facilitate candidates to modify, add or delete choices. The indicative seat allotted shown on these dates does not guarantee that the same seat will be allotted finally (during first round). Q. No. 27: Difficulty in login, what may be the problem(s)? Ans.: Please read User manual for the candidates. Follow the instructions about use of browser (Mozilla Fire Fox, Internet Explorer-(Latest Version), Google Chrome), use of same spellings, same format of date (Use digits for day, month and year with - in between) as in application form submitted to National Board Examination (NBE), New Delhi. If i n t e r n e t c o n n e c t i o n interruption takes place, the IP address which is being monitored will change and session expired message will be displayed. Please try to login from other computer from which other candidate(s) has logged in successfully, if possible. Q. No. 28: I have difficulty in Creating Password, what may be the problem(s)? Ans.: Creation of password should be as per password policy. Please follow the password policy. Please use the internet browser as suggested in user manual, as it is difficult to login from some of the other browsers. While creating password avoid using Caps Lock key, instead of Caps Lock use shift key Q. No. 29: When I try to login for choice filling/submission, It say wrong roll number /password, what may be problem(s)? Ans.: This can happen if Roll Number/Testing ID typed is incorrect or password typed is incorrect. Password is case sensitive, therefore use password which was created by user exactly same as typed while creating. In case password is forgotten, try to generate new password by using security question and its answer. Q. No. 30: What are the guidelines for choice filling before round one of online allotment process and Round-2 Allotment Process? Ans.: The Candidates are advised to fill in choice carefully for seats in (Higher preference to lowest preference).

Q. No. 31: Can I modify my choices during the choice submission period for counseling? Ans.: Yes, you can modify, add or delete your choices during this period, before you lock your choices. However, the registration (of New Users) is permitted up to date and time specified in counselling Schedule, only. Please note that you have to lock your choice by date and time specified in Counseling Schedule. Q. No. 32: I have not locked my choices before the time specified in counseling schedule on last date of choice locking, what will happen to my choices? Ans.: The choices submitted and saved by you will be locked by the system at the time of last date/date of choice locking as mentioned in Counseling Schedule, automatically. Q. No.33: How can I get print out of my choices which system has locked? Ans.: After the specified time of last date/date of choice locking (or after choice locking) print out can be taken from MCC website after login by the Candidate, link is available on the left hand side of the page as Print Lock Choice. Q. No. 34: If I opt to participate in second round of counseling whether my allotted seat (of first round) will be cancelled? Ans.: In case you are not allotted any seat in the second round you will retain earlier allotted seat (if you have already completed admission formalities and not resigned from the allotted seat). However, on allotment of a seat in s e c o n d round the earlier allotted seat will automatically be cancelled and allotted to another candidate. Q. No. 35: If I get an up-graded seat during second round of AIQ/ Deemed /Central university from Round I can I join that college directly? Ans.: No, you will have to get a relieving letter from the earlier institute/college generated on- line, before you can join the next college/institution. Q. No. 36: In case I get an upgraded seat but in the same college, because of change of category, (e.g. from SC/ST/OBC to UR category) do I have to take admission on the allotted seat again? Ans.: Yes, you have to get a relieving letter generated on-line for the earlier seat and then get an admission letter again generated on-line for the upgraded category seat from the concerned institution; otherwise your seat would be cancelled or surrendered to state quota. Q. No. 37: Can I know which of the seats are recognized or permitted by the MCI? Ans.: You may refer the MCI website, www.mciindia.org or Ministry of Health & Family Welfare website www.mohfw.nic.in for this. Q. No. 38: At the time of admission will my original certificates be retained by the allotted college/institution? Ans.: Yes, all the participating colleges/institutions have been instructed to retain original certificates of admitted students and release them only on up-gradation of the seat or resignation by the candidate. Q. No. 39: In case some of the Post-graduate seats are sanctioned by the Medical Council of India/ Central Government after start of Counseling (as per Counseling Schedule) will they be added in seat matrix (available seats).

As per Counseling Schedule (and MCI Admission Schedule) the 50% All India Quota Counseling will start after last date of issue of permission for starting new courses/ increase of PG seats including existing and PG seats permitted up to 28 th February (last date of issue of permission). No. 55:- Whether the Tuition Fees which was submitted at the time of Registration will be refunded back in case the candidate is not allotted any seat during the two rounds of online counseling conducted by DGHS? Yes, in case the candidate is not allotted any seat during the 2 nd Round of AIQ and Mop Up Round of Deemed/ Central Universities, in such case the Tuition Fees will be refunded back to the same account of the candidate. Q. No. 56 What will be the eligibility criteria for 50% Institutional seats of Central Universities which is being conducted by DGHS? Ans. The eligibility conditions of the 50% Institutional Quota of the Central Universities will be as per the eligibility given by the respective institutions at the time of counseling and the information will be put on MCC website. Q. No. 57 Whether there will be two separate counselings for All India Quota and 50% Institutional Quota on separate days and separate platform? Ans. This time there is common counseling software for Deemed University/ AIQ/ Central Institutional Quota. Hence, the candidates of 50% Institutional Quota who are eligible for counseling should opt for the choices in order of preference between AIQ and 50% Institutional Quota. No. 58 I have registered for Round I. Should I register again for Round II? Ans. No, only those candidates who have not registered in Round I need to register again. Q. No. 59 What is the process of counseling for AFMS? Ans. Candidates who are willing to participate in AFMS screening should register under AFMS at the time of Registration & fill their eligibility as per the 5 categories given by the AFMS authorities. Further round of Offline counseling will be conducted by AFMS authorities. Q. No. 60 Who is Eligible for Stray Vacancy Round of Deemed/ Central Universities? Ans. Q. No.62 Whether I am eligible for State/ DNB Counseling if allotted a seat in IInd Round of DGHS? Ans. If a candidate has been allotted a seat in Round II but not reported at the allotted Institute he/she can exit with Forfeiture of Fees i.e the Refundable Tuition Fee will be forfeited. However once the candidate joins a seat allotted in IInd Round (of AIQ/ Deemed University) he/she will not be eligible for exiting the seat and not eligible for any other round of Counseling including State and DNB Counseling. The names of such candidates who have joined in Round II of AIQ/ Deemed/ Central Universities will be circulated to all state counseling authorities for prohibiting them to participate in any other counseling. Q. No. 63 Who are eligible for Exit with Forfeiture option? Ans. a) Candidate who has been allotted a seat in Round II but does not report at the college may Exit with Forfeiture. (i.e. The refundable tuition fee will not be refunded in such a case) b) Round I candidate who has not been Upgraded in Round II may resign his seat allotted in Round I within two days of Round II Result announcement (by 16 th April,2018 till 5.00 pm server time).
