All students from Pre-K through 8th grade had the opportunity to cycle through various guest speakers such as firefighters, a musical therapist, bomb squad technicians, doctors, engineers, and many more! The students were given much valuable insight to begin thinking about what might be a wise career choice for themselves. All the presenters spoke about what a typical day on the job would be like, how long they studied to be qualified for that position, and gave the students opportunities to ask any questions they may have had. Our students had a great time collaborating with the many professionals we had on campus that day! Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School is a Christ centered educational community that is committed to the fullness of the Gospel message.
