"The Effectiveness of the Substance Abuse Treatment Program at McLennan County CSCD on Relapse and Re-offending" (Writing Results). This research will be conducted through the comparison of case files in an effort to determine the effectiveness of the Substance Abuse Treatment program on offender relapse and re-offending, specifically examining the effectiveness of treatment by the offenders' characteristics of age, employment, prior treatment and support system. Case files from offenders on the Substance Abuse Caseload will be compared to case files of felony probationers with substance abuse histories to determine if the Substance Abuse Treatment program had an effect on relapse or re-offending.
