No High School Classes or Exams on Friday, May 18th. More Important Information about : If students do not have a final or class during a given hour, they must report to study hall or not attend school at that time. No students will be permitted to be in the building during exam times unless they are in a classroom, supervised by a teacher. All students must be picked up by 2:00 PM or when finals have finished for the day. Students must also be in dress code and arrive on time in order to take the final exams. Students with less than three tardies and no detentions will be given a free dress code pass for finals. Any student may exempt from a final if they have earned a 90% or higher in both quarters, have no missing work, and have no more than 3 tardies or unexcused absences. Students who choose to exempt still must attend any review days and complete graded study guides. In order to be considered exempt from a final, a student must have approval from both the teacher and administration. Ultimately, if for some reason a teacher feels it is in the best interest for a student to take a final exam, the teacher may decide not to let a student exempt from it. LSA High School 2001 E. This year has absolutely flown by! In just two weeks, we will be saying goodbye to our seniors and welcoming in a new group of upcoming freshman. May is a bittersweet time of year when we can reflect on all the amazing things we were able to accomplish in such a short amount of time and look ahead to all of the exciting things to come. I want to say Congratulations, not only to our seniors, but to their parents and families who have made sacrifices to invest in the education of their children, and who have supported them in this journey. We are grateful for the opportunity to get to know and love your kids. We have been blessed with the opportunity to spend time with them and having a part of shaping them into who they will one day become. To all of the parents who have entrusted us with the education of their children this year, on behalf of the high school staff, we thank you! All the Best, Mrs. Nolen LSA has scheduled sports physicals on Tuesday, May 8th, 2018, after school until 5:00 PM. They will be held in the gym hallway and locker rooms.
