25 th Annual Pediatric Board review Course The Pediatric Board Review Course is designed for physicians preparing for either the certification or re-certification examination of the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics. Practicing pediatricians, family physicians, advanced practice nurses, physicians assistants, or pediatric sub-specialists not considering either examination can also benefit from this intensive general pediatrics refresher course. For those who have had difficulty with studying for or taking board-style exams in the past, this course offers practice in visual diagnosis and board-style practice examinations, in addition to the extensive review of the theory and practice of pediatrics. Course Features The live course includes: The speakers were excellent. Expert lectures on high yield pediatrics topics 2014 Attendee Daily expert-led reviews of board-style questions Print syllabus of black and white versions of the slides presented Daily breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks The pre-course online materials (available July 13) include: Pre-test 100 board preparation questions 40 visual diagnosis questions The post-course online materials (available by August 17) include: Post-test Audio recordings (downloadable MP3 files) of all lectures presented at the course Streaming files of the audio recordings, timed to the images of the slides presented at the course (available by September 30) All online materials will be available until October 31, 2016, providing 15 months of access. Accreditation This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Children s National Health System. The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Cancellation Policy Notification of cancellation must be received in writing (e-mailed to PBRdc@gwu.edu or faxed to 202-994-1791). Cancellation received by July 12, 2015 are subject to a $50 processing fee. Between July 13 and July 31, 2015, only transfers to the Home Study (Online Course) are available and refunds will be issued for the difference between the Live Course tuition and Home Study Course tuition, less a $50 processing fee. Tuition is not refundable after July 31, 2015; however, participants who notify us in writing that they are unable to attend the Live Course will be transferred to the Home Study Course. Substitutions will be accepted only with written authorization from the original registrant. The cancellation policy applies to tuition only. GW is not responsible for nonrefundable, nontransferable airline tickets or hotel accommodations purchased for attendance at this course.
