SACRAM ENT OF EUCHARIST The following children have begun their preparation for celebration of the sacrament. If you believe we have missed your child?s name please contact me at school. Thank-you to all the families who attended and participated on Tuesday. A note goes home today with further information regarding what we discussed. Sacr am en t of Con f ir m at ion Students in Year 6 who have received the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist will be presented for their Sacrament of Confirmation on Friday, 4th August at 6.00pm in the OLSC sports centre. If you have any questions about your child and their eligibility please see me at school or email me pmcdowell@olscwyn.catholic.edu.au. Parents are encouraged to start the conversation about a sponsor who will be present with their child on the evening. Their role is to spiritually walk with the candidate during the preparation for the sacrament. They will be assisting your child in being a true witness and disciple of Jesus, and representing the community when we present your child to the bishop. This person needs to be over the age of 16 - a Catholic who has received each of the sacraments and someone who will be available on the day and for our practice scheduled for the week leading up to Confirmation. Again if you have any questions please see me at school.
