Organizational Chart
Learning Objectives - Come away with a clear understanding, or able to describe, scope of practice of two professions; - Clearly state their own scope of practice. How confident are you that you could identify another scope of practice?
Student learning activity for tonight As you find a seat for dinner, seek out students in other professions as indicated on your name tag, form a group with as many different professions as possible and then follow the steps below. It is possible that not all professions will be represented at your table. It is your responsibility to circulate and find remaining student professions to complete your assignment. Give your 30 second elevator speech that describes your profession, including your educational requirements and scope of practice. (If two students of one profession are in the group, one can talk about their educational pathway and the other about their scope of practice.) Have one person from every profession in your group print their name by their profession. Answer questions or clarify any information regarding your profession. Once everyone has shared about their profession, you then need to ask each other/discuss: How can we best work together in a health care team?
Break for activity and dinner See you back here in one hour!
