Wednesday, June 22 Graduation Exercises: Suggested Dress: Girls Dress, skirt, dress pants, & blouse Boys Dress pants, shirt, & tie Students will pick up grad gowns at the school at 6:30. Holy Redeemer for the Celebration Service at 6:45. Parents are encouraged to attend this service. Students will go directly to UPEI Sports Centre by bus (no cars). A reception will follow the graduation. Students return to Col. Gray by bus after the reception (return gowns). Chem Free Party...students travel by bus only (no personal vehicles) Students are returned to school by bus the next morning. Invitations Five per student These are Keepsakes only. AutoSave 4
Grad Photos LifeTouch Photography took the photos for yearbook and composite in December. Grad pictures from other photographers will NOT be accepted for the yearbook or the composite. More Details in May AutoSave 5
Applications Students applying online will be given an I.D. number Check web sites and calendars for procedures, current information, and deadlines. Be aware of deadlines! For example: U.P.E.I Nursing is Feb. 15th McGill is Feb. 1st AutoSave 6
Transcripts Students must fill out a transcripts request form and past it into Ms. Whelan. Cost is $1.00 per. Fill out a transcript request form after first semester exams, in order for marks to be sent. Transcript forms are available outside Ms. Whelan's Office. All completed forms will be kept on file. Please fill out one transcript form per student. You can put multiple universities or colleges on this sheet. AutoSave 7
Mid Term Marks (April Marks) If the university or college you apply to requires mid term marks, it is essential that Ms. Whelan be contacted. There is no charge for this mailing. Final Transcripts in June School counsellors will visit classrooms, with a list. You must indicate where you would like your transcripts sent. It is your responsibility to sign this form properly and pay for your transcript(s) at Student Services. AutoSave 8
Resumes We would like to have an educational resume from each graduate. These are available at Student Services. Please pass it in as soon as possible. These are used by staff when writing reference letters for graduates. Student Loans A representative will be at Colonel Gray in mid May to meet with graduates. SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS # Students who receive scholarship offers are asked to advise Student Services so that this can be acknowledged at graduation. Only ACCEPTED offers will be acknowledged. Only one will be read. # An updated bursary and scholarship booklet is always available on the Colonel Gray web site. U.P.E.I admission requirements for Arts, Business and Science: Arts: English, one Social Studies or Language, and any three other academic courses, Grade 12 Math recommended. Note: Grade 12 Math is a prerequisite for some first year Arts courses (check with U.P.E.I) Business: English, Mathematics, any two Social Studies, Languages or Sciences, and one other academic course Science: English, Mathematics, two Sciences and one other academic course.
