1) About Generation UK-India The British Council, working alongside partners across the UK and India, has developed a new large scale mobility programme, Generation UK-India, starting in 2015-16. This programme aims to support up to 25,000 young people from the UK to gain skills and experience through placements in India over the next 5 years. Our vision is to create a more globally competitive workforce, and strengthen cultural understanding between the two nations.
