Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy School Profile And they shall be all taught of God. John 6:45 Our School Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy was founded in 1976. The purpose of Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy is to help young people in pre-kindergarten (K4) through the 12 th grade meet their fullest potential, both spiritually and academically. Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy utilizes all areas of education: spiritual instruction, academics, athletics, and fine arts to accomplish this important mission. Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy is a private, college preparatory institution with an enrollment of over 120 students in K4-12 th grade. Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy shall admit students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school, and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs. Our Affiliations The Fairfax Baptist Academy is a member of the Old Dominion Association of Church Schools (ODACS) and a member of the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS), a nationally recognized organization. Our Academics Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy offers three separate academic tracks. All tracks are college preparatory. Please see page 2 and 3 for additional information.

(Financial Management required 12 th grade) Science 3.5 (Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics (or Physiology if offered) are required.) Foreign Language 2.0 Electives 5.0 TOTAL Required 29.0 Advanced Studies Diploma: English 4.5 Math 3.25 (Algebra I, Algebra II, and GTA or equivalent are required.) (1 additional year of a Foreign Language may be substituted for Geometry or equivalent. Please note that if this option is chosen, 3 credits are still required for Math and the student must take Consumer Math or equivalent.) Science 3.0 (Physical Science, Biology and Chemistry are required.) Foreign Language 2.0 Electives 3.0 TOTAL Required 26.0 2

Standard Diploma: English 4.5 Math* 2.25 (Algebra I required; Financial Management required 12 th grade) *2 credits of the same Foreign Language may be substituted for 1 Math Credit. This decision should only be made by students who do not plan to major in Math, Science, Business, etc. in college. Our Competitions Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy participates yearly in the Old Dominion Association of Church Schools (ODACS) Regional and State Bible, Fine Arts and Academic competitions and the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS) National Bible, Fine Arts and Academic Competition. Students participate in various competition categories including Music, Art, Speech, Academic Testing, Preaching, Bible Teaching and Bible Quizzing. Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy has placed first in overall school points in the State Competition three of the past five years and consistently has over 30 students compete in the National Competition. Our Athletics Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy participates in the following Varsity and Junior Varsity sports programs: Basketball (Boys and Girls) Cheerleading (Girls only) Soccer (Boys and Girls) Volleyball (Girls only) Since 2007, Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy has won the following ODACS State Championship titles: Boys Basketball 2009 Girls Basketball 2007, 2009, 2012 Boys Soccer 2007, 2008 Girls Soccer 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 Our Diversity Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy has a diverse population of students.
