Background Christ the King Catholic School is one of the finest Catholic Schools in Oklahoma. Since its founding in 1949, the school has dedicated itself to the education and spiritual development of its students. Operating as a parish elementary school for grades Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grade, it is under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City and accredited by the Oklahoma State Department of Education. Impact This year Christ the King graduated 50 students. 98% are continuing their education at Catholic high schools while 2% are continuing on to a non Catholic high school. Many of our graduates take honors and AP classes and assume leadership roles in high school and beyond. We completed a new Junior High building in the fall of 2012 with state of the art labs and facilities. Our Pre-K program was expanded and moved in to the elementary building. One of our ongoing goals is to keep up to date with everchanging technology and make the best possible use of new tecnological advancements for our students and teachers. Increasing the income from our endowment fund to provide relief for the school's annual budget is ongoing. Establishing scholarship funds to provide tuition assistance to parents who want to provide their children with a Catholic education is necessary.
