Passion for Progress The college is extremely passionate about the learning and progress of all of its students. We are exceptionally proud of the journey that the college has taken in recent years and of the record results that are achieved year on year; a testament to the dedication of our young people and all those associated with the college. We are committed to the pursuit of excellence for all our students and are dedicated to ensuring that they leave us as confident, mature and aspirational young people, ready for the next stage of their lives. Ambition is genuinely embedded in every classroom Ofsted

Committed to Caring Hamilton is a happy, harmonious place to be. Our staff are dedicated to ensuring that all students receive the care, guidance and support they deserve and that will ensure that they fully reach their potential. Staff show an unfailing commitment to a diverse community of students Ofsted The college provides extensive wrap-around care which includes a highly regarded Breakfast Club each morning from 7:30am. Our broad range of Study Support clubs each afternoon complements the school curriculum with a vast array of academic, sporting and creative opportunities for our students. The college offers an exceptionally caring, supportive education for all Ofsted

The curriculum is well structured to meet the particular needs of individual students Ofsted The college has some outstanding elements in its provision Ofsted A Love for Learning Our curriculum is designed with the achievement of all of our students in mind; we believe that every child has the potential to succeed. Our innovative curriculum has won praise from Ofsted and others in recent years as we strive to ensure that students learning is personalised to their needs. In Key Stage 3 and 4 students study a broad range of exciting subjects in purpose built, state of the art spaces. We have dedicated ICT Suites, as well as first-class Design, Art, Sports and Performing Arts spaces. All classrooms have Wi-Fi connectivity and are enhanced by the very latest technology.

At Key Stage 4, in particular, the range of subjects on offer is impressive. Students are able to study carefully chosen academic GCSEs which meet the demands of the English Baccalaureate, as well as follow complementary courses in their area of interest. Our range of courses are tailored to each student s needs and ambitions, and include both GCSEs and other approved qualifications in subjects as varied as Law and Land Management. Teachers make my learning relevant and fun; I ve made so much progress since I arrived at Hamilton Yr11 Student

The college has done a great deal to make students experiences memorable Ofsted Beyond the Classroom At Hamilton we pride ourselves on the fantastic experiences that we are able to give our young people which takes their learning beyond the classroom setting. Events are planned throughout the academic year and range from our incredible Emergency Services Day, to Skype concerts with South Africa and visits to the European Parliament in Brussels to name but a few. Each year, students go out of school on trips or visits which enhance their learning. Recent outings have included Warwick Castle, The Globe Theatre and meeting worldrenowned author Anthony Horowitz. Of course, there is also a vast variety of sporting activities to get involved in, including our annual Fitness and Fun Week which sees our students having a great time on Climbing Walls, using the Surf Simulator or even getting dressed up in Sumo Suits! In Yr11, our Prom is an incredibly special evening and one which students look forward to for many months. The Prom is a splendid night and a fitting way to say goodbye to our oldest students.

Students behaviour is excellent Her Majesty s Inspector Maths Subject Inspection, April 2015

Belonging, Believing, Achieving. At Hamilton all students belong to one of four Houses - Bradgate, Burleigh, Bosworth or Beaumanor. Students usually remain in their House throughout their time with us where a supportive relationship is fostered with their Head of House. The House system promotes team spirit amongst students and also creates a healthy, competitive environment for students to thrive in through a range of inter-house, cross-age activities. Students also belong to their Form and Year Group, supported by their Tutor and Pastoral Achievement Coordinator, both of whom will ensure that an important link with you is established and maintained through regular communication, both formally and informally, throughout the year. Bradgate Burleigh Bosworth Beaumanor The hard work and positive attitude shown by every member of staff has never waivered Parent We could not have received better support anywhere else Parent
