Year 11 GCSE Exam Timetable Summer 2017 GCSE Practical and Oral Exams These take place during the spring and summer terms. All students attend College as normal throughout this time. Students are released from lessons to take these exams as required. Music and Art students should register with their group tutor at 9.10am and then go to the Music/Art rooms for their exams. All other students attend lessons as normal. Practical Moderation Monday 24 th April to 28 th April Drama Practical Exam 3 online exams, dates TBC Engineering GCSE Written Examinations Students assemble for the start of the following exams in the Y7/8 Quad at the times shown for each session. You should check in advance on the room/seating plans for details of your exact room for each exam. You will need to know your 4-digit exam number. Students are required to wear full College uniform for all their exams. Students must follow the Code of Conduct for all exams failure to do so may result in disqualification from that examination, or from all examinations. All breaches of examination rules are reported to the relevant examination board. Please note that mobile phones or any web-enabled devices are not permitted in the examination room. Any mobile phone going off in the examination room is likely to lead to disqualification from at least that examination.

Science Exams To clarify which exams the science students will be sitting All Core Science students sit 5BI1/5CH1/5PH1 either Higher or Foundation All Additional Science students will also sit 5BI2/5CH2/5PH2 either Higher or Foundation All Triple Science students will do all of the above plus 5BI3/5CH3/5PH3 either Higher or Foundation. If you are not sure if you are a Core, Additional or Triple student please speak to your science teacher. Revision Support Programme From Monday 15 th May until the last exam all student follow a revision support programme when not in an exam. This revision support programme is in addition to the revision that the students must be doing in their own time (evening and weekends). This programme is compulsory for all students. Where a subject is shown for revision students must attend unless in an exam. If a student does not have an exam or a revision session a supervised classroom will be available for independent revision. Please note that the revision sessions scheduled are based on this year s actual exam timetable and it is not possible to schedule revision sessions for all subjects. The timetable for Revision Support will be confirmed nearer the time and is available from the Curriculum Support Office. Buses Due to lack of space and the operating rules of the transport providers, students are not permitted to get on the early (KS3) buses home after an examination. Year 11 Final Assembly This will take place in the main Hall on 30 th June at 9.30am. Students should wear smart dress on this day. Year 11 Prom This takes place on 30 th June at Bayliss House GCSE Results Day These are available for collection from College between 10.00am and 12.00pm on Thursday 24 th August 2016. If you are unable to come into College in person to collect your results you may nominate someone to do this for you. Please either email your instructions to examsoffice@chalfonts.org or your nominated person should have a letter/note of authorisation from you. We will not give them out without one. We apologise but we are unable to email individual results. Year 12 Enrolment Day This takes place on 25 th August 2016 at The College from 10.30am.
