PSYCHOLOGY CONFERENCE TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIP FOR UNDERGRADUATE PSYCHOLOGY MAJORS All application materials must be submitted at least one month in advance of the conference. Scholarships are available to psychology majors to facilitate attendance at psychology conferences in which: (1) the student is presenting research, or (2) the student is currently and actively involved in working in a psychology research lab and/or on a psychology Thesis project and attendance at a psychology conference will contribute to the work the student has been doing in the psychology research lab. Typically, this will be indicated by enrollment in Psychology 4998, 4999.01, or 4999.02. If this is not the case, please describe your current involvement in your research lab. Eligible students can be awarded up to $400 if they are presenting psychological research at a conference and up to $200 if they attend a psychology conference. Attendance at the majority of the conference is expected. For both scholarships, payment will be made to students directly through Student Financial Aid upon return from the conference. These funds will be disbursed directly to you if no fees are owed to the university. Payment of the scholarship is contingent upon submission of, within 15 business days of returning from the conference, a 700-1000 word paper describing what you learned from the conference experience and how this knowledge will inform your research program and further your academic and career goals. Your paper must be submitted to 15 Psychology Building, 1835 Neil Avenue, Columbus, OH 43210. The department will begin processing your scholarship after your paper has been submitted.
