About Savills Ireland Savills Ireland has been at the forefront of the Irish Property market for more than 50 years. With more than 250 employees, Savills Ireland is a full service real estate advisory firm covering the entire Island of Ireland with offices in Dublin Cork and Belfast together with suburban residential offices throughout Dublin. Savills is about people. Our finest products are the knowledge and expertise of our employees. Every employee plays a critical role in our Firm s success. The challenge will be to operate as part of a fast paced team, be capable of performing at a high level whilst committing to an ethos of continuous personal and professional development. I joined the Savills graduate programme in 2014 and have received great training and knowledge during my time in the programme. The benefit of the Savills graduate program is the variety and depth of experience that is provided to graduates who are supporting senior staff members, dealing with leading international clients and handling their own transactions and deals. Graduates also receive a massive amount of support and training, in the form of expert guidance through the APC process, a detailed professional development programme and support from the international graduate network. I was lucky enough to recently represent Savills Ireland at the European Young Professionals Conference 2016 in Madrid early this year. I have really benefited and learnt a lot in my time in the graduate programme and fortunate enough to obtain a permanent contract at the end of my graduate contract. Conor Egan, 2014 Graduate, DIT

Savills Experience Programmes At Savills we believe engaging with graduates in final year is too late. We are very proud of our culture of Learning & Development and want to help grow students as they progress with their educational studies by offering practical on the job work experience. For this reason, we have introduced two new Experience Programmes to cater for all students, regardless of their academic year. The Savills Insight Programme The Savills insight programme is targeted towards 1st year college students. This is a one week shadowing programme whereby students are introduced to the Savills culture and get the opportunity to experience just what Savills as an employer has to offer. The Insight Programme includes; Director Breakfasts, Monday Morning Meetings, Lunch & Learns, invitations to internal social events as well as full Departmental overviews of all our different lines of businesses. All students will be paired with current graduates who will act as mentors during and after their time on the programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain on the job experience as well as learning about a potential career at Savills. Applications for the Savills Insight Programme open in February each year with Programme commencing in April. The Savills Summer Scheme The Savills Summer scheme is targeted towards 2nd/3rd year college students. This is a formal three month fully paid summer placement. Students will work within a Department and be paired with a current graduate for the duration of the programme. This placement offers students real life, on the job property experience with one of the top International Property companies in the world. Students are expected to meet with their Department Directors at the beginning of their placement and set goals and objectives for their time in Savills. Students will receive constructive real time feedback from their Directors throughout their placement to assist in their development. Participation in the Savills Summer Scheme will help strengthen student applications for the Savills Gradate Programme. Applications for the Savills Summer Scheme open in April each year with Programme commencement in June. *Please note Programme commencement for the Summer Scheme is flexible. I completed the Savills Summer Scheme this year and worked in the Hotels and Leisure team. The Savills Summer Scheme offered me real on the job practical work experience which has helped advance my written and negotiation skills. The Savills Summer Scheme helped me decide which business line of the property industry I wanted to pursue my career in, a choice that normally has to be made without any exposure to the different sectors. I would recommend the Savills Summer Scheme to any students with a passion for property and who are eager to kick start their career! Darragh Doyle, 2015 Graduate, Napier University, Edinburgh.

Savills Graduate Programme I have recently started working in the Development Agency & Consultancy team on the Commercial Graduate pathway. My work involves inspecting, appraising and analysing development land sites before they come on the market as well as historic transactions. This has provided me with the opportunity to learn the industry from the ground up and develop a skillset which has laid an excellent foundation for my career. After a year in this department I will rotate to another side of the business where I will further improve my knowledge of the industry. One of the reasons I chose the graduate programme at Savills is because of the opportunity to work in a few different departments while working on some of the biggest property deals in Ireland. Equipping our staff with the necessary knowledge and skills is crucial to the achievement of Savills organisational goals and contributes to our strategy of providing employees with an exciting and rewarding career. We have opportunities in our offices for property graduates to join the company on a 3 year graduate contract. During this time the successful candidates will gain the broad practical experience to build their reputation as a trusted advisor. Should the Graduate wish to undertake their APC, (subject to SCSI eligibility requirements) they are also provided with full APC Support. This includes access to our APC Library, study facilities, final assessment preparation, coaching and support resources. Jack Fox, 2016 Graduate, DIT

Savills Scholarship Your Pathway into Property Due to PSRA licensing restrictions, Savills Graduates must hold a degree from an accredited property course. Therefore, for those in other fields of study who want to break into the property industry, the Savills Scholarship has been introduced. This Scholarship which is fully funded by Savills provides Graduates with the opportunity to complete a part-time Conversion Masters during their 3 year Graduate Programme. This initiative is aimed at Graduates who may not have been made aware of the fantastic opportunities a career in property can offer when choosing their pathway. It is challenging traditional career expectations and advocating that it is sometimes the road less travelled that can give you an abundance of opportunities #RoadLessTravelled. I took the one less travelled by, And that has made all the difference Robert Frost, The Road Not Taken, 1920. Having always wanted to work in the property industry, securing a place on the Savills Scholarship was the best possible start I could have asked for. My undergraduate degree was not property based but Savills afford suitable candidates in this position the opportunity to pursue a part-time masters in property studies. I commenced the graduate programme in the hotels & leisure department and was directly involved in the sale and acquisition of hotels throughout Ireland, taking a pro-active approach in the preparation, valuation, marketing and active management of hotels. This exposure quickly advanced my knowledge of this niche market and helped introduce me to the fundamental skills of commercial agency. I would highly advise all those with a sincere interest in developing a professional career in the property world to apply for the Savills Scholarship and gain the exposure it offers to the different sectors of the industry. Ben Morgan, 2015 Graduate, Trinity College

Savills Graduate Benefits I joined the Residential Savills Graduate Programme 3 months ago and within that time I have been made to feel very welcome in the Savills Dawson Street office. Over the last 3 months I have been heavily involved in the sale of a number of properties. I have been given my own portfolio of properties to manage and sell under the guidance of my manager. I spend much of my time out of the office on viewings at a variety of properties from one bedroom apartments to some of Dublin s finest homes. In a short period of time I feel I have been given an array of opportunities to enhance my negotiation skills and learn the fundamentals of the sales process from valuing a new instruction to getting the sale across the line.
