2007 2011 Grambling State University Grambling, LA Research Associate Office of Planning and Institutional Research Ms. Nettie Daniels Was promoted to the offices Second-in-Command as directed by the university president thus becoming supervisor for the office when AVP for Planning and Institutional Research takes absence and was directed to; oversee the responsibilities of the office staff, conduct research/ training of the office researchers and graduate assistant to accommodate office wide abilities and skills due to increased responsibilities given to the office by the university president. Conducted several research efforts including academic advising, retention, and the predictive capabilities of the responses of the academic advising survey on departmental retention; percentage analysis of responses to the student opinion survey; alumni outcomes survey. In this role I was responsible for survey distribution, data collection and analysis and writing an extensive research analysis of the findings and preparing procedural and policy recommendations through executive summaries presented to the universities president and administrators. Wrote university fact book for academic years 2007-08, 2008-09, 2009-10, and 2010-11.
